Vacation rentals with lake access in Crete

The is a family house, simple, pleasent and authentic. The natural surroundings are amazing. The silence is incredible. Meni and Andreas, the owners, are very nice people and we felt the love they invested in every detail. Thanks 🙏

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr zweckmäßig eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts, außer vielleicht einer großen Schüssel und einer großen Kaffeetasse ;-) Die Matratzen vom Bett waren angenehm fest und wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Im ganzen Haus gibt es Fliegengitter, so dass man auch nachts die Fenster offen lassen kann und keine Mücken und Insekten reinkommen. Die Lage des Hauses ist ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto von einem wunderbar weitläufigen Strand entfernt. Auch als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in die Berge ist es ideal gelegen. Einzig die viel befahrene Straße direkt vor der Terrasse hat uns etwas gestört. Elena ist eine sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Gastgeberin, die sofort auf Nachrichten reagiert. Sie hat uns mit einer selbstgemachten Nachspeise und einem Abschiedsgeschenk verwöhnt. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür! Falls wir wieder mal nach Kreta kommen, würde ich auf alle Fälle wieder dort wohnen.

Das Appartment ist entsprechend der Beschreibung und der Fotos sehr schön eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr gut, nahe zum Ort und Strand und trotzdem ruhig und im Grünen. Die Kommunikation mit Evridiki war sehr schnell und freundlich. Sie ist eine sehr aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Ich würde das Appartement jederzeit wiederbuchen. Vielen Dank an Evridiki!

Annonce à la hauteur du logement. Très bien équipé, rien ne manque, aménagé avec goût. Très confortable. Paysage magnifique avec vue sur la montagne, petite piscine parfaite pour se rafraîchir. Pas de vis à vis. Au calme mais proche de Georgeopoulis et route nationale. Kristina est une très bonne hôte avec des petites attentions pour notre arrivée. Possibilité de randonner à partir du logement.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist einzigartig, nur ca. 5 Meter vom Meer entfernt. Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sind hier garantiert. George und Ellie sind sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Bei der Ankunft haben wir viele Leckereien vorgefunden, die sie für uns bereitgestellt hatten. Es gibt einen Supermarkt in dem kleinen Örtchen, der jedoch im Mai noch geschlossen war. Die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit war 14km entfernt, was aber für uns kein Problem war, weil es einfach toll war, diese Serpentinenstraße mit der atemberaubenden Aussicht zu fahren. Die Tavernen gegenüber am Strand haben nach und nach eröffnet und wir haben dort die griechische Gastfreundschaft und Küche genossen. Alles in allem ein toller Urlaub!

Great remote location with everything you need to spend quality time with your family or beloved ones. Think of bringing warm clothes for chilly evenings and nights in autumn!

Nikos places is great. Its beautifull house in olive groove close to village and lake just few minutes walk. house has all you need, shade, sun , few big teraces, parking space. I felt like at home and we really enjoyed or 2week stay. Nikos was really responsive, he is easygoing guy, had recommended lot of things. Location is good base to explore Kriti and you need a car and for us was no problem so we utilized every moment to visit around great beaches, gorges, cities , taverna... great vacation Would like to come back and definetely recommend. ps: thx for genuine olive oil

Very nice clean appartment, with big balcony and nice shared rooftop. Nice beds and very nice shower. Top location next to restaurants and centre. Great host, great communication. Thanks for the cookies, fruit and 🍶

Alles perfekt! Sofia ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin und überrascht die Gäste mit netten Gesten. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und hat alles was man braucht (sogar Waschmaschine). Auf der Terrasse hat man eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf das Meer. Zu Fuss ist man in 10 Minuten am Strand und in 5 bei Restaurants und einem Supermarkt. Preis-Leistung nicht zu übertreffen. Wenn wir könnten, würden wir mehr Sterne vergeben 😊

Nous avons passé un super séjour. Le logement était propre avec une vue superbe et un accès direct à une petite plage privée. Le seul bémol est les bruits des voitures la nuit. Le logement est très bien placé, à 5 min en voiture de la ville. Notre hôte a été très serviable, a été de bon conseil et n’a pas hésité à prendre de nos nouvelles tout au long de notre séjour. Merci encore pour cet agréable séjour ! 😊

Lovely views from the terrace of the harbour and the daily comings and goings. Felt like we were in the heart of the town but with a private outdoor space. Inside was comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. Joanna was very helpful and responsive. Great value and recommended.

Dear Nikolaos, We spent an amazing time in your beautiful beach apartment. Everything was great, the location just few step directly to the Cristal water of the beach. The communication with Nikolaos was perfect, always answered quickly to every question. Great places to eat nearby and a small grocery store also nearby so you can just stay in the area for days without going anywhere. There is right before the apartment a place where you can rent a kayak, scuba dive or book a boat trip, we booked one and went to a half day trip on a nice yacht to Dia island with a nice dinner wich was perfect. I definitely recommend NIkolaos place if you want great holidays in a gorgeous apartment with beautiful view of the beach all day long.The balcony was also great and we loved to spent time there eating or just relaxing. Thank you Nikolaos for everything and we hope to come back one day🙏

Nous aurions Aimé rester plus longtemps! L’appartement est comme à la maison, on ne manque de rien. Il fait frais malgré des grosses chaleurs grâce à l’aération et à la climatisation si besoin. Il y a de l’espace. Cela a été très confortable avec 2 enfants en bas âge. Le village est très calme, la vue donne sur la mer, les gens du village sont accueillants. On a adoré !

We enjoyed staying at the traditional Georgios's home: so many lovely details brought together with love! Sitting on the terrace overseeing the vineyard was incredible. Also, Giorgios suggested we participate in the grapes picking with his dad - that was remarkable! They suggested we try the traditional wine making process - grapes pressing with legs as well but my friends voted to escape to the beach :D The quiet and private place might be an excellent option for 3-4 people. There is a beach nearby, which is super quiet. The nearest tavern is about 15 min. Another tavern and a coffee place on the beach are 30 min away. The house has everything you might need. We would definitely consider staying again at Georgios's place!

We had a great time staying in Stella's house. Everything was excellent, we had no shortage of anything. And what a wonderful bed! We stayed in a hot period in August. Temperatures reached 34 degrees. Besides making daily trips we stayed quite some time in the house with refreshing airco's. In the house you could not hear anything from the close by road. With our morning coffees outside it could be quiet noisy. Overall we are ***** star satisfied. Stella is a great host.

We had a very nice week staying in Nicols place. In the beginning we had little difficulties finding the place due to an technical error, but Nicol responded really fast and gave us helped us very quickly. The communication in generell was very friendly and fast. The place itself also was very clean, had all the essentials needed and provided a lovely view of the surrounding valley. Would definitely recommend this place:)

We have just returned for our stay and are feeling super refreshed yet a bit gloomy to no longer be in our mountain retreat! Natura house is a home from home. It is set in such a beautiful landscape. A perfect base to unwind to the sound of birdsong and cockerels, with large terraces and everything you could need. It is situated a short drive to some beautiful beaches. We were greeted to homemade produce which was a lovely touch! Communication was great and check in easy, we met Mikes dad who was very hospitable. The local people of Limni are so friendly - there is a lovely mini market , a few minutes walk away with fresh local produce, cheese, eggs etc. They also serve coffee/juice etc. As well as a great taverna (says bar/cafe) but offers true home cooking, no menu style, which is in my book the best - we had a fantastic rabbit stew, chicken and Greek salad. There is also a bigger village Elos 5 mins drive away for more restaurant / store options. Thank you Mike and family!

We had a great time in the property of Nikos. The conversation was always fast and easy. All of our questions has been answered. The apartment is huge for 4 people and the view is insane. We had the bigger pool area which is more expensive but worth it. The privacy, the pool etc. was really beautiful and for us a perfect start into our vacation and also something different than staying at the beach as most of the tourists do. Nikos allowed us to stay longer which was so kind from him, we met his lovely mother as well. So we really felt very welcome. Also there were some nice welcoming details like cold drinks. Everything was really new and clean. We highly recommend to stay here!

Kostas hat mich vom Flughafen abgeholt, weil mein Flug verspätet war und ich daher keinen Mietwagen bekam. Er war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

We (a Greek young couple with a 4 years old child) stayed at Nikola's place for 7 days in the middle of August. Our stay and host exceeded all our expectations! The place was in a cliff and it had an uninterrupted view over the beautiful lake of Kournas. The house was just built and had more than what we could have asked for. Big living room with very comfortable sofa, tv and aircon, big kitchen with EVERYTHING one can ask (including a fridge filled in with fresh fruit, sodas, bottled water), two nice bedrooms (one with a double bed, and the other one with two single beds) and plenty of storage rooms and aircons, and a spacious toilet which also had a washing machine. Nikolas and his mother were so helpful and provided us with all info needed for our stay. Nikolas also took an extra step and made a gift to our daughter of some brand new Barbies the moment we stepped in the house, something that our daughter loved and it was certainly not expected and gift was well received. If I would travel back to Krete, I would definitely choose Nikola's place! Panos

Magnifique petite maison au calme bien située pour visiter Chania , Kourna , Rethymnon , Chora Skafia et environs. Un accueil formidable rarement vu , des explications claires et succintes en anglais: tout était parfait . La famille est vraiment composée de gens formidables qui aiment leur pays magnifique. Des petit cadeaux bien agréables : vin + huile délicieux ( helas trop lourd pour la reprendre..). La maison est super bien équipée : il ne manque absolument rien et tout fonctionne bien : même le wifi ! La maison est super propre , possibilité de faire son linge , eau chaude en permanence et petit radiateur électrique en cas de gros froid mais également des hamacs pour se reposer. Parking aisé juste devant la petit maison dans l'enclos . Grand terrain cloturé par un petit mur bien pratique qui empechait notre petit chien de s'échapper. A pied, le lac de Kournas (5 minutes) et la plage (30 minutes) et le centre de Gorgiopoulis ( 25 minutes) ne sont pas loin. Bref un petit paradis, on aurait bien voulu rester plus longtemps mais les vols retour la semaine suivante vers la Belgique étaient vraiment trop chers : dommage !
