A serene coastal view reveals a sandy beach curving along the shoreline, framed by gently rolling hills. The turquoise waters meet the soft sand, while patches of grass and low shrubs create a natural foreground. Overcast skies provide a muted ambiance to the scene.

The views from the rooms are stunning. The house is perched on a hill. All mod cons are provided and we had a lovely stay there for the weekend. Close to fabulous beaches and mountains a perfect place to explore north Donegal

The Muckish Hideaway No.1

HilaryRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Martina's hideaway was so quiet.....if you listened carefully you could hear sheep in the distance and birdsong but other than that it was still and calming. Perfect hideaway for those who want some time in the middle of nature. We loved it. Small and compact but had everything we needed apart from WiFi which didn't work.

Its a great place. Set in beautiful countryside. Very peaceful. A slightly quirky room layout but spacious and interesting. Very well insulated so always felt cosy in there.

Beautiful 4 Bedroom Holiday Cottage.

PaulRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Eight of us shared 4 twin rooms and 2 bathrooms…I thought maybe it might be a bit uncomfortable and crowded…as did others in our party…but no…it was very spacious for us and there was never an issue regarding the bathrooms…We were on a hiking trip…we are all eager to return and make use of this accommodation again…sooner rather than later…we were very, very happy with Mary & Thomas’s Air B&B…would highly recommend a stay there! 😃

Heather Cottage, Creeslough, Co. Donegal

LisaRating, 5 stars25 months ago
Suzanne and David were so kind and helpful, we didnt need anymore help from them as everything was highly detailed. We were greeted by a nice cosy fire, which was just what we needed after the journey and there was plenty of logs left for us to keep it going throughout our stay. The house was spotless and everything we needed was provided! We had 2 dogs with us and the yard was really secure, with beautiful, peaceful scenery. The locstion was close to lots of beautiful things like the board walk and ards forest park! The only downfall from our trip was that we werent there for long enough - but next time! Thank you Suzanne & David!
A sandy beach stretches into the distance, bordered by gentle dunes. The sky is filled with fluffy, white clouds, and sunlight casts a warm glow on the landscape. Footprints mark the smooth surface of the sand, leading towards the horizon where the sea meets the sky.

The Old Bank House

MichaelRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Rented both the upper and lower apartments. The upper has a really spacious kitchen and living areas. Much smaller in lower. Both have bedrooms on the street side so if youre a light sleeper bring earplugs if youre renting in season. Location could not be better for us. In the heart of all Dunfanaghy has to offer for pubs, shops, and restaurants. No trouble finding parking on the street. Comforting to have the surf shop staff available had a problem arisen (which it didnt). Both the bunk room above and twin room below would do well for children but would be definitely cramped for 2 full size men.

Donegal Walking, Cycling & Golf. Family, Sleeps 12

MartinaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
I booked Deirdre's place as a getaway for my family when I was back in Ireland this summer. It is in a part of Donegal that is familiar to me and is so beautiful. The house was extremely clean, very homely and comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious and bright and no shortage of beds, blankets, duvets, towels for all of us. We were a family group of 12, mix of adults and children. The kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials needed plus extras like an air fryer, dishwasher, washer and dryer. The two full bathrooms were clean and perfect for us. The outside of the house is private, away from the road and great for the kids to play. The recommendations of places to go and what to do from Deirdre, were brilliant and we visited many of them on our stay there. There was no Wi-Fi and I did not mind that. We played games, quizzes, talent show and charades and didn't even miss it. I would definitely recommend Deirdre's place and would absolutely return there.
