The Acorn Guest House

The Acorn Guest House is a two-level, self-contained accommodation located 2 minutes from the ferry landing in Balfour, BC and only 30 minutes from Nelson. Features include a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 ½ baths, a washer and dryer, patio and balcony, fire pit, and plenty of free parking with room for RV's or Trailers. Christmas Tree will be up Dec 10th! from the comfort of a King-sized bed, with large windows that keep you connected to the outdoors. Inside, you’ll find counter seating, kitchenette & bathroom. A short walk away is a fire table & private hot shower. Soak in your private hot tub or explore nearby hiking trails. Additionally the nearby creek offers the perfect white noise for an enjoyable night sleep!

Moosu Guest House and Spa, Cedar Hot Tub and Sauna

Moosu Guest House is a railroad style cabin designed for two people with 12 foot ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom for a superb stargazing experience. The private outdoor spa features a salt water cedar hot tub and barrel sauna. Turkish spa towels and cozy robes are provided to complete the spa experience. As part of your stay you will be welcomed with a package including coffee from Nelson’s two iconic roasters Oso Negro and No6 Coffee Co, and tea from Nelson’s Virtue Tea.

Beautiful 3 bed, 1bath custom log home situated on Crawford Creek. Walking or biking distance to restaurants, shops and the golf course. About 2 km from the beautiful sandy beaches of Crawford Bay. In winter, the Whitewater Ski hill is about 40 minute (+ scenic ferry ride) away. There is ample cross country skiing on the Kokanee Springs golf course and up Crawford Creek road as well as the spectacular Ainsworth Hot Springs just across the ferry(booking required). Fire pit available seasonally.

By the Lake

By the Lake is a welcoming, private suite situated in a beautiful, modern waterfront home with a stunning view over the lake and a lovely garden with a hot tub. Five minutes drive from downtown and 15 minutes from Whitewater ski area, provides refreshing hikes and skiing opportunities close by. Close access to shopping and restaurants. John's Walk lakeside path passes right by the house, leading you to attractive Lakeside Park. Our beach provides a peaceful spot to relax on the lake shore.

The Bus Stop

Opened of in Summer 2024 Retreat from the crowd on 20 acres of private land, in this remote forest sanctuary, completely separate from your host. Nestled between two streams, with a deck overlooking a pond, you can immerse yourself in the sounds of the forest and flowing water. Inside, you'll find gorgeous amenities that will accommodate long stays and a dedicated space for those on a working holiday. A true oasis for lovers, tranquil setting for writers, and a refuge for nature seekers.

The Robin's Nest Cabin is close to a sandy public beach, golf course, boat launch and marina (all 5 min away.) Hiking and biking trails are nearby. A trail to a spectacular waterfall is right on the property. A green space in front of the cabin for badminton, outdoor games and a camp fire. Relax in a custom-built , timber-framed cabin tucked on the edge of a forest. Enjoy peace and tranquility on a historic estate in a community graced with natural beauty and lots of artistic folks.

A Peaceful and Private Studio Suite

A beautiful suite nestled in nature. It is located just outside of Balfour with access to the ferry landing, balfour store, a gas station and a bakery. Ainsworth Hotsprings is a short 15 min drive, Kokanee Creek Provincial Park is 10 minutes away and Balfour Golf Course is even closer! Nelson and all its amenities is about a 25 minute jaunt. 4 wheel drive is recommended during winter weather as the last little stretch is a little steeper. Winter weather can be unpredictable.
