The surrounding areas include the Atlantic, river beaches, fields, forests, the Pateira lagoon, Curia Thermal spa, the national velodrome of Anadia amongst other places. The region is well known for its wines and its gatronomy and is ideal to relax or work.

The Lagoa de Torres is about 500 meters away, a very pleasant place to read, meditate, walk the dogs or fish.
