Spend the day kayaking, walking or cycling in the mountains, enjoying the largest spa in Portugal (20 mins), & exploring historic villages and cities, then come home to relax in a hammock in the orchard, soak up views from the bath, or chillout to vintage vinyl. We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

Welcome to Retiro do Burel, where you can enjoy the best that Serra da Estrela has to offer. Our house has c.100 m2, two large bedrooms and two bathrooms, and all amenities you need, in order to spend amazing and relaxing holidays away from home :) From our balcony, you can enjoy the magnificent view that extends from Serra da Gardunha to the Tower.
