Very well located as a starting point for trips to Lisbon or the surrounding area. Buses and trains can be reached in a few minutes on foot. Also shops are in the immediate vicinity and in Rua Cândida dos Reis, which leads to the ferry port, there are some very nice restaurants/cafes. The place is very clean and very tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need and don't necessarily want to take with you when traveling (iron/small ironing board, for example😅). John Nicolas is a very nice and helpful host who responds quickly to any questions that come up. The most beautiful addition for me in Almada - be sure to go to the River Garden at sunset and enjoy the great views of Lisbon, Ponte 25 de Abril and Cristo Rei.

I received a warm welcome on the first day, and was pleasantly surprised when Sabrina offered to bake cake for me! The cake was delicious and Sabrina’s hospitality was truly one of the more memorable experiences of my trip to Portugal. Thank you Sabrina!

A very good place to stay in Lisbon. Serge was a very good and caring host. The accommodation fully matched the description and Serge greeted us with a bottle of wine. A special highlight of the accommodation for us was the sunset overlooking Lisbon. The accommodation is about 30 minutes away from the city center by public transport, but is easy to reach. In addition, the free parking is in an underground garage, about 10 minutes' walk from the property.
