Nearby you will discover the Allier River (Lavoute Chilhac), Brioude, Blesle and Lavaudieu (many events), La Chaise Dieu (basilica and festival). Fully equipped house, suitable for people with reduced mobility. Essential shops 1 min walk away as well as an Intermarché. Bed made on arrival, free garage/parking.

In this renovated country house, about 300 meters from the Allier River, you can enjoy nature, swimming, and great hikes. The house is located in a village, Le Chambon, 3 km from one of the most beautiful villages in France, Lavoute Chilhac. The house has stunning views of the entrenched valley and the river that flows below. In the shade of its linden tree, you will enjoy the terrace and the landscape. Quiet, cozy cottage with pool.

If you like calm, tranquility and nature, our cottage is for you. We do our best to make your stay pleasant with the pool which is private to the cottage and accessible in summer from 10am to 7pm. We are close to Brioude with its magnificent basilica and painting exhibitions, 2 km from the highway with access in 45 minutes to the Cantal mountains or to the Auvergne volcano range, the Puy de Dôme. As well as 1 hour from Puy-en-Velay.

Haut Allier Valley House

This old barn has been tastefully furnished to make your stay as pleasant as possible. A large terrace overlooking the village of Chilhac and its basaltic organs, a large living room with full amenities (equipped kitchen, table seating 12 from recycled wine tank). Plus, we reused the cellar press to make a shower. Close to Lavoûte-Chilhac, one of the most beautiful villages in France, come and enjoy our region.
