Derrick was a very friendly very helpful guy. Our room was fresh clean and comfortable. Breakfast was freshly made in a lovely relaxed quaint room. Derrick gave us very clear directions to the venue were attending. We visit Wexford from time to time we will definitely return to The Blue Door.

We stayed with two small kids so we could catch the early morning ferry. if the weather had been ok we could have walked in 10min so it was ideal for our early start. The accomodation was clean and spacious and check in was easy.

absolutely great place to stay, I'd even say it's under budget, worth alot more than what we paid. gemma and her family were very helpful and friendly, snowball is very cute and in all I'd say it's the best place we have ever stayed.

It's clear that the hosts have put a lot of love into this place, and we felt right at home. As pet owners, we were thrilled to find a place that welcomes our dogs. Our dogs loved exploring the grounds and enjoying the fresh air. However, we did notice that the outdoor area isn't fenced, which made us a bit cautious, especially with the road nearby. For future guests with pets, it might be helpful if the listing mentioned this detail more explicitly, so they can plan accordingly. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would love to return. A fenced area would make this perfect for pet owners, but even without it, the beauty and tranquility of the place are undeniable.

We had fabulous stay with Carol as host. We were two families with teenagers and one smaller kid. Rooms were immaculate and stylish with lots of space. Living areas and large well equipped kitchen were just fantastic for breakfast and chilling out. Carol was really helpful and super to communicate with - we will definitely be back.

Carol was great and was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We were visiting for my grandmother’s funeral and the accommodation was perfect and central to where the service was being held. Accommodation was exactly as described. Was great to stay there as I still remember the place being a pub from when I used to visit Campile as a child.
