The Creamery is a recently renovated charming two storey stone cottage located just under 10 minutes from Gorey town, renowned for its great shopping and Restaurants. A great base to explore our beautiful hills and beaches which are close by.
“My girlfriend and I had the best time at The Creamery! It’s a beautiful, cosy home that was perfect for a winter weekend away for two (although it would have had more than enough space for 4!). Everything was stylishly decorated, clean and well equipped. We loved putting the fire on after a long day’s walking, and relaxing in the living room each evening. The kitchen has everything you might need, and the underfloor heating and smart TV were a luxurious touch. Fiona was a great host - we arrived to find fresh baked bread and cakes, plus eggs milk and bacon in the fridge for our stay, shampoos and body wash in the bathrooms, and even a couple of Christmas crackers! And she was super helpful and immediately on hand when we had questions or needed anything. The main bedroom where we slept was really comfortable too. Would recommend hiring a car for getting around - Wicklow Mountains National Park is an easy hour’s drive and was stunning. All in all a brilliant stay - thank you Fiona!”
Kilmallock House is our 300 year old home steeped in history, located in the heart of Ireland's Ancient East. Kilmallock is a rustic style farmhouse which oozes old world charm and period features, we feel privileged to be passing through!
“My wife and I had originally planned to stay in Dublin. But I had always envisioned vacationing in the Irish countryside. This farmhouse in Wexford county was absolutely perfect. It was so quiet, peaceful, and beautiful that we just stayed "home" most of our stay instead of venturing out for shopping or tours in neighboring towns. The town of Ballymurn is about 1 km (15 minute walk or 2 minute drive) from the farmhouse. We got some food and snacks from the convenience store for cooking at the house. We had a drink at the Anvil where we found a friendly atmosphere of locals stopping by for a drink and company on their way home from work. Reminded me of "Cheers" and was not rowdy at all. We ate at the restaurant/bar inside the Slaney Inn in the town of Oilgate (7 minute drive). The food was good and everyone was very nice. On that note, everyone we met on our vacation was friendly and courteous. A note on dining, if you want to eat out after 6 pm, you will probably need to drive to drive to Wexford or Enniscorthy. Each is about 20 minutes away. We had intended to tour castles, etc., but we enjoyed relaxing at the house. My wife and i are dog people so it was nice having Tiggy there to greet us in the mornings and upon our return from outings. He is very sweet. He appreciates attention but is not pushy or obnoxious. Louise gave us thorough walkthrough of our accommodations upon our arrival and was always there to help with any needs. This place is highly recommended if you need a place to get away from it all and relax.”

“We had a really lovely experience here. It's a little off the beaten track but that's what makes it special. The room was wonferful and amenities very handy. It's lovely to be able to make a cup of tea and coffee. Darrell was an excellent host, great communication and the doggies were very friendly. I would definitely come back preferably when it's warm so we can enjoy the outdoor area and waterfall. One night isn't enough!”
