Desde o inicio procuravamos uma casa para acomodar a minha familia de 6 pessoas que iria viajar de Portugal para visitar a minha filha e namorado. Encontrámos uma casa com as condições que pareciam ser perfeitas e num local lindissimo. O David mostrou-se sempre muito simpáitico, acessivel e disponível Quase na data de ir para a Irlanda perguntei ao David se poderia alterar a nossa reserva de 6 para 8 possoas e a resposta foi de imediato afirmativa. Ao chegar à casa não houve surpresas. Era exactamente de acordo com as fotos e como descrito nos comentários. Encontrámos uma casa com sabor a casa. Muito aconchegante, confortável, com o essencial para viver. Bem decorada e quentinha. Como planeamos viajar para a Irlanda com alguma frequencia, certamente a casa do David será a nossa primeira escolha. Muito obrigada por tanto David.

Just back from a lovely few days at Caroilin"s place. Great location, lovely restaurants within a short distance. very peaceful surroundings. The house is lovely and it was fantastic for us to have the dog with us. Would highly recommend.

Very nice home with a short walk to local restaurants and store. Kennans and the purple onion were our go to eating places after our days out touring. Both very good. We liked the location for walking by the river and watching the world go by. Nice to sit out the front in the Sun in the morning with a coffee. It’s not secluded but it is still very quiet.

Merci à maria qui nous a proposé une maison tout équipé, avec tout le nécessaire ainsi que des petites attentions pour le petit déjeuner. c'était parfait ! elle était présente a proximité si nous avions besoin et est venue s'assurer que nous étions bien. installé !! nous recommandons !

One of the best places to stay. Arthur was very welcoming and informative and always responsive to queries. The place was spotless and very modern and close to activities and sightseeing.

Tolles Haus mit sehr viel Platz. Wir waren mit sieben Erwachsenen dort und hätten locker noch zwei weitere Personen unterbringen können. Toll vor allem die vielen Badezimmer, so dass man sich hier nie in die Quere kam. Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre, dass man jedem Gast zwei Handtücher zur Verfügung stellen könnte und die vorhandenen schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind. Perfekt auch die Lage des Hauses von wo aus man in wenigen Minuten in der Hauptstraße mit Pubs, Geschäften usw. ist. Wir waren Ende April in Moate, wo leider ganz wenig los war und fast alle Pubs und Restaurants erst ab Donnerstags Essen anboten. Moate ist perfekt gelegen, um sich das Landesinnere Irlands mal anzuschauen (Athlone, Clonmacnoise usw.). Nur zwölf Kilometer entfernt in Ballymore gibt es auch einen tollen Pitch & Putt Platz. Absolut zu empfehlen für jeden der Spaß am Golfspiel auf kurzen Bahnen hat !!! Alles in allem mal wieder ein toller Aufenthalt auf der Grünen Insel !!!

Beautiful home located in a peaceful, country side setting. Great amenities and well provisioned. Just as described! We had a great time with our family and really enjoyed visiting the smaller towns around the area. Thanks Saskia for great stay!

Lorna’s place is great value. Not only do you get a great space (living area, bedroom, bathroom, outside, etc) but also a fabulous choice of breakfast items for a cooked brekkie including milk and juice, and no better Irish welcome than the makings of a crisp sambo!! Bottles of water too.

We had a lovely one-night stay at Linda’s! It was clean, quiet, only ten minutes from town, and just what we needed for one night. Linda was very quick with all her communication and greeted us upon arrival.

Had a fabulous overnight stay at Trionas place. Everything we needed for a short visit to the area to catch up with family nearby. Her place was very cosy and clean and easily accommodated our group of 6 made of 3 generations. We all remarked how peaceful and quiet it was. Triona is a fabulous host, very responsive and we were so grateful for the selection of groceries left for us. Value for money most definitely and we hope to stay again the next time we are down her way. Thanks for everything Brian

Just what we needed whilst attending a Wedding close by. Beautiful location, friendly host and a very comfortable bed.

The cottage is great, really comfortable and the filled pantry made it really easy to settle in. Gráinne and her husband are fantastic hosts. Unfortunately I got sick and we needed an ambulance. They helped with every step of the way and even provided rooms for the nurses who accompanied me during my flight home. This way I got to know them the day before my flight. I'm really sad I could not enjoy the beautiful surroundings more and had to leave early, but I can fully recommend this place.

Un grand logement clair et agréable : de la place pour notre fils, une literie très confortable, un gîte à la ferme très bien chauffé. Avoir pu assister à la traite des vaches et visiter la ferme a été un plus. Pratique et propre, sans fioriture : un logement exactement comme il nous fallait, pour faire une pause de 2 jours, à la campagne, durant notre road trip irlandais de 2 semaines.

My friends came from Latvia for couple of days to visit and this was an amazing place for them to stay. Gerry is amazing host, always responsive and helpful. Everything is near by, shops, coffee places, restaurants and even cinema. Car parking is available nearby. Place felt like home,warm and cosy 😌✨️Highly recommended 💕

Eileen's place was absolute serenity. Super quiet and a wonderful place to come back to after a busy day out exploring. Only a 10 minute drive into Tullamore, so easy access to shops and restaurants. We found it a great central location to enjoy day trips from. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, quiet base.

I had a super great time at Niamh's place!! They were super helpful in getting there and back and were very communicative. The place was super cute and clean, and the pets were adorable and very very sweet. I would totally stay here again and can't recommend it enough!!

Great place, ideal for a couple exploring Athlone and the surrounding areas. The guys were super responsive and all information was to hand. Very cool LED light features and an amazing shower!!

Paula was very friendly and helpful, we had our two dogs on their first trip and it was ideal. Large garden to run around and the walks along the canal were fabulous. Paula left us bread, milk and cereal which was very convenient. There was music upstairs in the bar which was busy but not too noisy.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The place was immaculate, beds were super comfy. Decor in the apartment was gorgeous. Declan and his son were lovely and Most of the local people were really friendly and helpful. Pubs, shop, lovely cafe and takeaway a stones throw away. So perfect spot for a weekend away. Short drive to the Hill of Uisneach, and close enough to Mullingar and Athlone. Thanks for having us Declan. We really enjoyed our stay. Janice & Karen,

We had an amazing stay at Eileen’s place. Would highly recommend! It was absolutely spotless clean with all the amenities you could need! A lovely quiet & peaceful place to relax and unwind! Would definitely stay here again!
