It is totally self-contained - perfect for safe self-isolation in this unspoilt corner of the west of Ireland. Rent reduction negotiable for stays of 7+ nights - and ample changes of bed linen for longer stays.

Staying in our cosy cottage allows you to immerse yourself in local attractions. Located on the same grounds as our family home, the cottage provides a chance for friendly interactions during your stay. Idyllically located in the heart of Union Wood, 7miles from Sligo town this cosy self-contained cabin provides an ideal location to get away from it all, with fishing, hiking & mountain bike trails on your doorstep though action is never far away! This is an ideal stopover on your Wild Atlantic Way adventure or if you're attending a wedding in Markree Castle or Castle Dargan hotel. My parents, Brendan & Sheila will be on hand to show you around and give you a real Sligo welcome!

Only 15 mins from Sligo town 25 mins from Carrick on Shannon and 15 mins from Coolaney National Mountain bike park. Shop's and pub's and parks are less than 3 mins walk. A fabulous base to explore the mountains, beaches and loughs nearby.
