1800s countryside cottage

SerenaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Wish we could have stayed longer!! My 9 year old says that petting and feeding the pony was the highlight of our whole Ireland trip! 💚 The cottage was so cosy and welcoming. Beds were very comfy (there are curtains but we brought a travel blackout curtain for our son and I was glad). Nice to have blankets to snuggle with in the living room and the kitchen had everything we needed! It was also such a treat to have a few groceries in the fridge, what a thoughtful gesture. We can tell that Anne really loves the place, it shows! I’d love to come back and have time to just relax 😌

Old Scragg Farm Cottage No. 1

JulieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed at Scragg farm for our honeymoon and it was hands down the best thing we could have done! Not only is Andrew a wonderful host with a fountain of knowledge for everything near by (he gave amazing recommendations!) - but the cottage was also incredibly peaceful and picturesque. Not to mention how central it is; most of the places we wished to see were only an hour or so away. Haven't even been gone 24 hours and we're already talking about when we can take our next trip back!

Rita was an incredible host! We came to Ireland wanting to discover the beautiful west coast and Bunratty was the perfect home base for us! It’s great that it’s close to the Shannon Airport and there are plenty of things to do in Bunratty. We were in Ireland for two weeks and stayed with Rita the whole time.
