Ranelagh Gorgeous Serene Family Home D6.

RickRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Wow! I can't say enough about Susan's home in Dublin. The house was immaculate and much larger than I thought it would be based on the photos. Everything was beautiful, the decorations were unique and interesting, and the rooms were inviting and comfortable. The garden access from the house was so open and unique that I'm thinking about copying it on my home. Susan was incredibly responsive to all our questions and we would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Dublin. Thanks, Susan!

NEWLY BUILT CONTEMPORARY HOUSE WITH GREAT SEAVIEWS

SarahRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Tom's house was beautiful and as described. Tom was regularly in touch in the lead up to our arrival and available for any queries during our stay. The garden was ideal for the children in our party and there were plenty of toys and books in the house for them to play with. The house is at the top of a hill with stunning views of the sea. We didn't have a car and walked up and down the hill into Howth many times during our stay. The house is very close to the centre of Howth, but I would recommend hiring a car/using taxis especially if guests have any mobility limitations. Otherwise there were many facilities within Howth and it was easy to travel around on the DART into Dublin and surrounding areas.
The exterior of a modern two-story home is shown at night, featuring illuminated areas that highlight its stone and stucco facade. Large windows provide glimpses of warm light from within. Surrounding gardens and a spacious driveway are visible in the serene countryside setting.

Contemporary Spacious 4 bed home, close to Luas

BoyanaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Paula’s place is absolutely beautiful and in a safe, quiet neighbourhood. As a family of 5 we especially appreciated that it was extremely spacious. The home was very clean, had all amenities necessary, and Paula was a responsive host. The beds and pillows were overall comfortable, but one twin size bed in the computer room was very squeaky, and the mattress was a bit dented from use. One of us therefore slept on the couch, which was not a problem since it was very comfortable as well. The only other thing we weren’t sure about is the bunk beds being stable enough to hold two adults, but that’s to be expected as we think it’s meant for children instead. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Georgian home, seaside location

AndrewRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This is a lovely, spacious period house with lots of character in a great location. Nice place to stay for a family gathering with helpful hosts. This is a residential home so felt very much like borrowing someones house rather than an impersonal holiday rental. There is lots to do nearby with stylish eateries and drinkeries. 5 minutes from the sea with all year round swimming available for the hardy. There are a couple of saunas near the sea if you want to warm up too. We popped over to the James Joyce museum in a nearby tower and took the Dart into central Dublin- all very easy. Hosts were very helpful and responsive, providing plenty of support and information before check in and during stay as required. There is on site parking but the access is tricky for some cars due to angles, slopes etc (not uncommon in Dublin I understand). there is also plenty of free parking round the corner 5 minutes away. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to others.

Little hideaway

MillyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Firstly, Joan as a host is very friendly, welcome and kind. She was very responsive to my questions and helpful. Previous negative review about Joan and her place couldn’t be further from the truth as Joan couldn’t have done more for us. We arrived around 6:30pm during winter and she’d already put our heating on in both rooms and turned on the heated blanket on the bed which was an absolute treat after coming in from the cold day of travelling. Regarding the temperature, yes it was cold but it’s Ireland in winter so it was to be expected, but Joan has installed really powerful heaters that got it cosy in no time. The place has been renovated since the photographs, it has been decorated in a beautiful funky retro style but still included modern equipment such as an air fryer and electric hob. As for the location, Joan’s place is conveniently only a 10 minute walk from a supermarket which supplied everything we needed for our trip. There is also lots of public transport links nearby. 5/5

Helen gave us an exceptional welcome! The place is absolutely flawless – beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully prepared. Every detail was taken care of with love to make us feel comfortable: everything smelled great, felt cozy, and was ready for us. The hot tub was already warm when we arrived, and the barbecue setup was amazing – everything arranged with so much care and attention. We stayed just one night, but we’re already planning to come back for a longer stay. Helen’s place is truly a peaceful haven, where birds sing and the sky is full of stars. Highly recommended!
