Vacation rentals with lake access in County Cork

Great location for exploring waterville, valentia island, port magee, derrynane beach. The house is a short drive to waterville where they are lots of pubs & restaurants. The view from the living room in the house is amazing, I would of sat there all day! ❤️ Paul provided lots of information before our stay which was very handy and communication was smooth throughout. Defo recommend!

We were in Killarney for a wedding and stayed here for 3 nights with the family. the house was absolutely gorgeous, big, clean and the beds were so comfortable. Denise and Donal were so helpful, kind and got back to me quickly with any questions, (we were also upgraded to a 4 bedroom house). They left a lovely welcome goodies of the essentials (and a few treats) which was such a lovely surprise. The location was perfect (only a few euro to town in a taxi) and very close to the National Park. I would highly recommend these holiday houses and will definitely stay here again when back in this beautiful part of the country. Thank you Denise and Donal for making our stay so memorable x

Really lovely place, had a slight problem with the lock box jamming on check in (no fault of their own) but the host resolved within minutes of calling. Very modern and beautifully furnished. Really nice touch by host to leave tea, coffee, Milk and cereal etc. Shampoo, Shower gel and Deodorant also provided! Will definitely stay again. Great for a group of friends or a big family!

Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this stay. Karen was so kind and the space was beautiful- perfect for our family trip, within 12 min of downtown, lots of yummy restaurants in the area. This stay is definitely a highlight of our trip.

When every single review is 5 stars then there are high expectations & every one of those were exceeded! A beautiful, spacious, clutter free, airy, bright house with a lovely patio area and gardens. Everything that is needed is in the house! Lough Hyne, Skibereen and Baltimore are all nearby. James was fabulous, he facilitated all of our requests and was a pleasure to deal with! Even though we were unlucky with the weather, the house made the trip very special nonetheless!

This us honestly a hidden gem. The location is perfect to venture out and explore Kerry. The house itself was even better than expected - fully equipped, spotless clean and with everything one could ask for. Maureen and Phil communicated super proactive, quickly and very helpful. overall would book again definitely!

I stayed at Brian's place for six weeks and was looking for peace and quite so I could read and reflect. I also like walking, particularly in wilderness areas. The location, being just outside Killarney was perfect. The flat was private and the Killarney National Park, which is extensive, was only a short drive away. I also used this accommodation as a base for visiting other places: Ring of Kerry, Dingle, Tralee and Cork, which were not that far away. The trains are great, and I used them to travel to Tralee and Cork. The flat itself was ideal with bedroom, kitchen-sitting room and bathroom, which had all the necessary things. Heating, internet and TV were excellent. Brian and his wife were very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions I had. At the same time, they respected my privacy. I had a wonderful stay there and highly recommend to others.

What a gem of a find at John’s place. It was exactly as described but in addition the quality of the furnishings and quality of the kitchen appliances, crockery, cutlery was exceptional. John had clearly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. He was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and was able to answer any questions we had. I was able to go out on the bay in his kayak and saw the seals. A lovely experience. If we return to this area again we will definitely be in touch to use Johns place again.

The apartment is in a spacious, beautiful, peaceful rural setting including a herb and lettuce garden that we were free to use (spring-summer has its advantages!). Pristine apartment (warm and comfortable with good kitchen and bathroom facilities); great location for exploring the south-west peninsulars of Mizen, Sheep's Head and Beara. Walkable local village. Friendly, responsive host who lives on site. A perfect AirBnB stay. Thank you Stefan.

Great location, everything you need for a lovely visit to Killarney as only a short walk into town. Beds comfy, plenty of hot water and lovely clean towels and sheets.

Note the apartment is best reached by car as not in Cork City - approximately a 15+ minute drive.

Sadly didn't get to stay here personally as motorbike died however my dad and uncle said this was the best stop on the trip with everything two bikers needed for a comfortable stay, and a decent homemade brekkie available for a little extra, thanks again

We had a fantastic long weekend in Caroline's place, everything was as described, beautiful house and garden, very cosy and comfortable beds. Great location for exploring West Cork in a very quiet location.

We had a glorious few days in Julie’s beautiful cottage. We stayed there many years ago and the cottage and gardens were as lovely and as well kept as we remember. Lots of beautiful walks and cycles from our doorstep, not to mention the views from the cottage. We were sorry to leave but hope to return again.

We had a fantastic stay here to visit family and enjoy the Kerry scenery. Being on the edge of the lake was beautiful and we enjoyed some lake swims. We had the opportunity to see a deer in the back garden. It was lovely sitting out and listening to the birds in the morning. Great communication with Noreen being there to answer any queries and greeted with lovely brownies. Would recommend. Thank you

The Salmon House was super comfortable with beautiful surroundings. During our stay the weather wasn’t perfect outside but the house made up for it. The fireplace and living room were well used, the kitchen / dining area were perfect for our family meals and the quiet setting made for great sleeps! Would hope to use this location again to enjoy all the lake has to offer!

Abolutely fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Right on the water. Very peaceful yet a great pub at 2 minutes walk. 3 very comfortable bedrooms. Great kitchen and living room. Beautiful (really!) surroundings. The whole place oozes charm. We will be back!

I have stayed in this cottage quite a few times over the years - and I always enjoy it immensely. The cottage is lovely, decorated in a style that suits its age, and set in the most stunning scenery. It feels as though you're in the middle of nowhere - it is so quiet the deer come right up to the patch of grass in front of the house in the evenings and there are so many different birds it's almost like an orchestra - but you're definitely not: There are two good restaurants in the area, a nice pub near a harbour, a lunchroom in gorgeous gardens and a very well stocked shop-and-tearoom only a 20 minute drive away. So yes, I will come again!

Stunning setting and ideal accommodation overlooking the mountains and adjacent Killarney National Park. Could not have asked for a better hostess in Eileen, who was always helpful and friendly and who pointed us in all the right directions for a perfect holiday. Throw in three gentle pet donkeys and a farm cat, who could ask for more? Bliss!

We had a great stay at Anna’s apartment. Parking was easy, everything was very clean and tidy but also very cozy. The apartment had everything we needed including a coffee machine and a washing machine. The area is so pretty and green. Anna and Fearghal are great hosts and very welcoming. Communication was easy and we got a lot of recommendations for nearby adventures. Their dogs and the cat were super cute and friendly. We definitely would recommend a stay and hope to come again in the future!
