Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. For the winter, there is a wood-burning stove. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

Formerly old wine vats, our atypical gîte has been completely renovated. Saint-Hilaire is located between Carcassonne (16 km) with its unmissable medieval city and Limoux (13 km). We benefit from all amenities: bakery, pharmacy, tobacco/grocery store… as well as a great cultural wealth!

Welcome to this charming 60 m2 apartment, ideally located in the heart of the historic village of Saint-Hilaire. Recently renovated, it offers all the modern comforts and has retained its soul with its exposed stones and beams. Just a 100 m walk to the Medieval City of Carcassonne! Accommodation for up to 4 people, with all amenities. From its cozy and furnished terrace, you can enjoy the view of the ramparts and admire the famous July 14 fireworks from the front row. The Trivalle district is full of good little restaurants and joins the Bastide de Carcassonne as well as the port of the Canal du Midi. See you soon!

Located 2 minutes by car from the medieval city and 5 minutes from the city center, you can leave our small hamlet at your leisure to go to the banks of the Canal du Midi, relax on the beaches of Lac de la Cavayère or hike on the trails of the Montagne Noire.
