Boca de Iguanas Avoceta 203

Marco PoloRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This was our third stay at Joyce's place, and we simply love visiting Boca de Iguanas. The condo is beautiful and spacious, with a terrace overlooking the sea that’s perfect for meals. The kitchen is super well-equipped, ideal for anyone who enjoys cooking. The beach is stunning—peaceful, relaxing, and spacious. Whether you want to swim, take a walk, or simply soak up the sun, it’s a fantastic spot. Joyce's property also features a gorgeous garden surrounded by the end of a river, home to a variety of birds and iguanas—an absolute delight to admire. Just a heads-up: there’s only a small store nearby where you can find basics like ice and beer for the beach. I recommend bringing your own food so you can focus on nothing but relaxing. Nely is always there to take care of anything you might need regarding the condo, and Joyce is very responsive and helpful if you need her as well.
A serene view of the beachfront, featuring a private pool surrounded by palm trees. Beachgoers are spotted enjoying the water, with the ocean in the background and soft sandy shores stretching out toward the horizon.

Casa Vela

RuthRating, 5 stars3 months ago
It was a wonderful stay, the house is beautiful and the complex is super clean and nice. The pool is about 100 meters away, but the stretch you walk is very nice, among the palm trees. The common area where the pool is located is very clean and comfortable to spend the afternoon and the beach is very quiet. I would definitely go back and recommend it 100%. It is highly recommended if you have children, but the pool is a bit deep (1.5 meters approx.) I recommend going prepared with floats and life jackets if they don't know how to swim... On the edge of the pool there is approx. 1 meter which serves as a paddling pool.
A spacious bedroom features a large bed with a light-colored duvet, complemented by a wooden accent wall. Natural light enters through an open doorway, revealing greenery outside. A ceiling fan is positioned above, and a small wooden table adds a touch of warmth.

Absolutely loved staying at Casita Tortuga! It's somehow even more beautiful in person than the photos! Picturesque view, wonderful location (walking distance to the beach), and truly stunning surroundings. I highly recommend a visit to Careyes and to stay at Casita Tortuga - the indoor/outdoor living area was very spacious and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sound of the ocean.
A stunning sunset casts a warm glow over Careyes Bay, with the sun dipping below the horizon. Various boats dot the calm water, while lush palm trees frame the foreground, enhancing the serene coastal landscape.
