Beautiful apartment. Super friendly host family. Very comfortable, private parking, and good location. I highly recommend it.

Perfect location to get some social time in. Short distance to the malecón where on Friday night it was active and fun and his place is just out of earshot from the activity so it's perfectly peaceful. I was impressed that there wasn't a single grain of sand on the floor and everything was very clean. I saved this location bc this is exactly where I'd want to stay when I return! The only downside, no grocery in walking distance but there is a Six nearby. Taxis and Ubers don't have a hard time finding you.

The bungalows are just as described and incredibly well-constructed and clean (not always true in Belize!). Quiet, beautiful view and pool, and Joe was super helpful and friendly. I felt terrible when I took a fall and turned out to have a broken foot, and he was so gracious and drove us to the local clinic for x-rays and care. We were sorry to cut the trip short, but we will definitely return and feel like we made an amazing connection with Joe and Laura in what could become our retirement destination. We highly recommend this tranquil resort and thoughtful hosts.

Excellent service from the host, very clean house and pool, not only does she leave you with the appliances but also ingredients to prepare some food or coffee, the service was very friendly and attentive to any eventuality, I would stay in that same place on my next visit

Janice and Larry were wonderful hosts. Always willing to answer our questions but also very respectful of our privacy. Mermaid Manor was clean with a spacious outdoor space, good kitchen and a firm, comfortable mattress (always a nice bonus for me!) You'll have no regrets booking this gem.

Guadalupe was an excellent host. The place was just as described. No issues with check in or check out. Felt very safe. Would stay there again.

Beautiful apartment, spacious. I loved it! The most incredible thing was the area where the private pier is located. Beautiful colors of the lake, very beautiful photos I took at the pier. I recommend it!

We had the best experience at Horse Cottage! It's a place in the middle of nature but with all the comforts! Everything is thought out, down to the last detail! The rooms are huge and comfortable, the beds and bedding are excellent. Everything is impeccable. There's purified water, an electric kettle, a microwave and a refrigerator! There is also a super well-equipped common kitchen/dining room with a blender, toaster, stove, and cooking utensils! A luxury! And the best thing is Nathalie's service, always attentive to everything, and Johana too, super nice and they make you feel at home! And the icing on the cake is her little dog Coca and the two mares that walk around the garden and give you a lot of affection!!! Without a doubt, super super super recommended!!!

Really enjoyed our time there. Some of the amenities, such as dishes and towels weren’t stocked for 6 of us, so hopefully that will be resolved. It’s probably become that way as the resort staff clean, and probably aren’t as attentive to items missing. Dishwasher didn’t work well or the blender, but not that big of deal. Really enjoyed the screened porch, and the casita stayed nice and cool with the A/C, despite the heat wave.

We had a short stay at Philip's Jamaican Bamboo Cabin and enjoyed every minute. We will definitely return!

This is my second time I took this apartment and when I will come next time I would like to stay in same apartment everything was perfect

very great location close to all a vibrant cute little town. Sabrina and Mr. Kelley were wonderful. hosts had a lot of fun. Felt like we were visiting friends.

The instructions to get there were out of date. The two ferries had been replaced but the road was under construction. We were late getting into Belize airport so by the time we got to the main highway turn off it was dark. We started down the road but decided to ask some locals about the road. Two different friendly local people said "Do Not Drive that road at night". Luckily we listened to them and got a local hotel room for the night. The road was terrible going to the resort plus the entrance road to the resort was bad but we knew this from others who posted about it. When registering and advising the female clerk, she told us the main road was good and everybody drives it at night during the construction. Not a good welcome. After that encounter, every body else at the resort and outside of the resort were very friendly and helpful.

I hate to share just how much I love this place because I don't want to compete for booking it when I want to go back!! What a peaceful yet connected place - right by an amazing swimming area called Mangrove Park. In town and able to access grocers, cafes, butcher etc. And you WILL want to cook and enjoy the screened in verandah and yard! MAGIC! I already miss Losita and Blossom (the doggy).

Margo was an excellent host - immediately responsive and provided lots of useful information before we arrived as well as while we stayed with her. Her house is gorgeously decorated with everything you could need or want while there, and very clean. Kyron who works on site was wonderful as well - very friendly, and took us on a fun boat ride where he taught us a lot about the history of Sarteneja. And we loved Margo's dogs!! The pool and patio are superb and we spent many happy hours there!!! We learned after a few days that it was best for us to wear long pants, socks and shoes while watching sunset because we were particularly tasty to the no-see-ums on the beach. It had rained a few days before we arrived as well as while we were there, so I'm sure that was a contributing factor. The town was full of friendly people and a great place for some rest and relaxation. If you want to get off the beaten path while in Belize, there's no place better than to do it at Margo's!
