Places to stay in Corfu

Une semaine parfaite en famille. Visites, randonnées, plage (même si l'eau est un peu fraiche début mai), restaurants et gastronomie locale (avons loué une voiture pour parcourir l'île). Nous avons profité au maximum. Georgia a été très bien, tant au niveau de la communication, l'accueil, ses recommandations et sa disponibilité. Séjour au calme à 50 m de la mer, la maison est charmante avec son grand jardin et ses équipements extérieurs. Intérieur confortable, literie parfaite, salle de bains idem. A part les petits déjeuners nous avons mangé un soir en terrasse sinon tout le temps en extérieur. Nous avons adoré !

Wir hatten einen absolut tollen Aufenthalt in Katerinas Apartment, die Lage ist wirklich perfekt, insbesondere für Leute die kein Auto haben, da alles was man in Corfu erleben will gut zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Katerina hat innerhalb von Sekunden geantwortet wenn man eine Frage hatte und hat uns hilfreiche Empfehlungen gesendet, was will man mehr 🙂‍↕️

We enjoyed a fabulous two night stay overlooking the sea and roof tops of Corfu. The location was brilliant with wonderful restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Stamatis was ever so helpful and friendly and communication was great. The apartment is really bright and airy with super comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen and homely lounge area to relax in. We could have happily stayed for a few weeks :) Thank you Stamatis and hope to see you again!

This place is an absolute dream! Perfect for a family getaway with kids. We were lucky enough to get good weather and enjoyed two beautiful sunsets at the property. The house itself is comfortable and beautifully furnished. The hosts were very flexible and let us check in early as well as late. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to be back.

A wonderful host with a kind heart, idyllic home and excellent recommendations!! This stay is perfect for exploring the entire island because of its central location and its close proximity to the airport. The house itself is really clean and is well stocked with everything you could need. Finally the jasmine and the olives and the artwork on the bedside tables really make this stay feel special.

I stayed at this Airbnb in Corfu and had an excellent experience. The location is very close to the old town, which made getting around super easy, even late at night. The apartment itself was spotless and had everything I needed. It had that charming, vintage vibe — not run-down or overused, but full of character and well taken care of. The bedsheets and towels were perfectly clean and crisp white. The plumbing was brand new and of great quality, and even the hairdryer was surprisingly good — not one of those forgotten, cheap ones. The host was very polite and respectful. Overall, this was a stay I truly enjoyed and would absolutely recommend 100% to anyone visiting Corfu. A calm, clean, and authentic place to stay that made my trip even better.

Absolutely had the best time staying at Theodora’s place when we visited Corfu! Super close to great cafes and restaurants! The water pressure in the shower was amazing too!! Highly recommend if you want to stay in Corfu Town centre to explore and also be close to the water coast line for a walk.

Wir kommen gerne wieder! Die Unterkunft und vor allem der Ausblick sind wie auf den Bilden! Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und Lenka hat uns viele Tipps für die Insel gegeben.

The place exceeded our expectations, it’s even better than the photos. Very clean, just a 10minute walk to the old town, and you can literally dive into the sea right across the street. There are also plenty of parking spots, as well as food and coffee nearby, which was super convenient.

What can we say but we loved this place.. we were made to feel right at home as soon as we walked through the door. Such a responsive family answered all our questions and the information on where to visit and places to see was amazing, we visited all of them 😁 This property is as amazing as it is described and the pictures don’t do it justice as it is such a beautiful welcoming family home in an amazing location. Thank you for an amazing few nights we will be back.

Had the most wonderful 6 nights at Irini’s-didn’t want to leave.The very roomy apartment with fabulous terrace and straight on to beach is now one of my favourite places😍🐠🏖️ The apartment was equipped with everything and more,abundance of fluffy towels,fresh eggs,milk,bread ,fruit,wine,exercise equipment etc,a magnificent host and beautiful mum and dad who were on hand too if you needed them,great bars and restaurants along the beach and hidden Messonghi streets,locals so lovely and friendly,just loved loved loved-thankyou Irini-you made it so special for us 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️

Wir hatten tolle anderthalb Wochen bei Eftihia und ihrer Familie. Die Wohnung liegt in einem wunderschönen Dorf in der Mitte der Insel, sodass alles gut zu erreichen ist wenn man ein Auto hat. Das konnten wir fast immer etwas unterhalb des Dorfkerns parken. Eftihias Mama hat während unseres Aufenthaltes zweimal geputzt und uns neue Handtücher gebracht, sodass wir uns fast wie im Hotel gefühlt haben… das war überraschend und sehr lieb. Ausgestattet ist die Wohnung mit allem was man braucht und noch mehr, es gab zusätzlich Wein, Saft, Wasser, Zahnbürsten und sogar Mückenschutz. Die Küche hat alles was Selbstversorger brauchen, gefrühstückt werden kann auf einem der schönen Balkons. Alles ist wie auf den Bildern dargestellt, wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Sinarades und würden den Aufenthalt bei Eftihia jedem unserer Freunde empfehlen. Vielen Dank!!

This property is a GEM. 40 mins from the airport. We were blown away with this property. Very high spec throughout, super clean, fabulous crisp linen and towels and all the white goods you could ask for!!! This property is not overlooked. Fully functioning air conditioning. Both rooms have fab modern facilties, very clean shower rooms with some personal touches. The pool area has ample sunbeds, 2 large umbrellas, remote awning for outside table area. There is a barbeque on the property. The property has a view to die for which you can never tire of. The pool is just the best, very clean and lit up at night. There was no real need to go any where else to be truthful!! The host Nataliya was a SUPER host. Answered all our questions super fast and nothing was too much bother. Thank you so much. There was a good number of very good restaurants within walking distance of the villa. All in all this villa was such a find and we were so please we chose it.

Where do I start. Angelos Village is an oasis of luxury, a dreamy place I didn't want to leave. The hospitality was fantastic, great communication with Andreas. Hara met me and showed me what to see and do on Paxos, and was just so lovely. The room itself was spotless, a haven after long days out walking and beaching. The pool was a dream, with lots of little areas to sit and soak up the sun (or relax in the shade). I've never seen anything like the complimentary, homemade breakfast basket -- there was just so much food (did me for breakfast and lunch), it was different every day, and every single bit was truly delicious. Yes, it is a bit of a steep climb up from Lakka town, but as many other reviewers have mentioned, 1000% worth it for the superb view and the peace and quiet. Nearby Orkos Beach is a gem, as is Lakkos/Orkou Beach (a bit more of a walk but worth it). Overall, this is one of my favourite Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. Do not hesitate to book it for a special stay on Paxos.

We loved our time at this villa. The host was very helpful and had a concierge available to assist as well. The property is clean and well maintained with everything you need. The location is perfect, just off the main road so it’s an easy drive to Corfu and other little towns. The restaurant next store, is good if you want a close spot for dinner or a drink. There is a water taxi that can be arranged from the dock at the restaurant as well.

This was a great find for us - great value. Can walk to Hyalus coffee shop; even nearby market. Good access to restaurants of Gouvia; beach at Kontokali; Dassia & Ypsos Beaches. We enjoyed the nearby Sweet & Savory coffee & eatery too. Blue bus #7 goes to Corfu Town. We LOVED Greek salad & omelet at Costas Taverna in Agios Ioannis. Ioannis Capodistrias Museum - (their George Washington). Spiros was SUPERHOST !!! House is tasteful and central to a meaningful Corfu experience. Views grand maybe especially orthodox chapel on tiny peninsula in the nearby bay.

We had a great time in Avgi’s apartment. The unit is very cosy, well equipped, and conveniently located close to the center of Pelekas. The highlight is the deck with a fantastic view towards the Agii Deka mountain. Pelekas is a quiet town with good infrastructure, a really nice bakery close to the apartment, a small supermarket, and a couple of good restaurants. In May, not many tourists were around. We came for hiking and explored all parts of Corfu. For this, Pelekas is a good base station with even the most Northern and Southern areas of Corfu not more than a one hour drive away. The hosts were very attentive throughout our stay. We highly recommend Avgi’s apartment!

Die Gastgeber sind einfach super freundlich, immer erreichbar und vor allen Dingen hilfsbereiten allen Angelegenheiten. Die zentrale Lage und die Nähe zur Hauptstadt machen die Wohnung zu einer top Lage. Man ist eben so schnell im Süden wie auch im Norden. Die schönsten Strände an der Ost und Westküste sind jederzeit mit ein paar Kilometer zu erreichen. Ich danke allen Familienmitglieder der Gastgeber für ihre wunderbare Unterstützung. Ich bin tiefen entspannt nach hause gekommen. So wie es mein Ziel war

We had a wonderful time staying here! The place is cosy, spacious and very clean with a great terrace overlooking the bay. Nia was an absolute amazing host. She made us feel welcome right from the start. It's a great location to drive to the beautiful beaches of Corfu and if you want to leave the car behind there is a restaurant nearby and a nice local grocery store just next door. We would definitely recommend going to the bakery/grocery store next door for breakfast, a coffee, nice pastries or even an apero. Also the taverna's in Lakones are worth a visit for a coffee or a drink. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Stephani and Nikos place is truly a rare gem. The view is breathtaking and the villa is very pleasant. The kitchen is fully loaded with all necessary items to prepare dinner of all sorts. The streets are very narrow and difficult to maneovur with bigger vehicles so you need to park the car close to the bakery and then walk to the compound. Of course, they have a good parking spot for you reserved!

Un merveilleux endroit pour poser sa valise et se perdre quelques jours dans le paysage infini depuis la terrasse somptueuse. Un peu isolé dans la montagne, mais des prestations exceptionnelles et une décoration et un aménagement d'un raffinement exquis. Un grand must de nos (nombreux) souvenirs de voyages !

We spent a few days in Mesongi as a family of four while exploring Corfu, and our stay at George’s place was a memorable highlight. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. What truly set it apart was the warmth and hospitality George provided—it felt more personal and inviting than our subsequent stay at the larger Apollo Resort. That said, it’s important to know that the apartment sits above a vibrant and excellent traditional restaurant (which we highly recommend). With that comes some evening noise—clattering plates, conversation, and the energy of a Greek taverna in full swing. If you’re a light sleeper or turn in early, it may take some adjusting. Overall, if you value local flavor, authentic hospitality, and a central location in a lively village, this is a fantastic choice.

Athanassia and her parents were incredibly friendly and made us feel like home. We were greeted with a wonderful dinner cooked by Athanassia’s dad and it was such a fantastic, friendly welcome! The place is wonderful. You can never get bored of the beautiful views from every room. It is perfect for 3-4 couples / small families. There was enough space for everyone and we never felt “stuck” with the same people. The pool is such a wonderful addition and a complete must have in hot summer months. We absolutely enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and did cook quite a lot. Swings is a nice addition for families with small kids - it was the main place to hang out. Also the garden is big and has many trees and plants and it was amazing to just roam around and for kids to look for bugs and flowers. They were never bored there and we stayed for 11 nights! Loads of tavernas in 5-10min drive distance. The roads near by are not really for walking so we suggest to use car for commuting. Thank you so much ❤

Gosh - what a find! We loved our stay here. We spent hours swimming in the clear blue sea that is just a few metres from the property and then chilling in one of the very many seating areas provided over several terraces. The hosts provided clear directions to reach the house and Eleni was there on arrival to greet us and show us around. The house is very comfortable and the bed linen and towels were spotless. There was plenty of room for our belongings too. As Eleni said to us when we arrived, it’s an outdoor house and this is where you spend most of your time. The outdoor area has so many seating and table areas you are spoiled for choice. There is also an outdoor kitchen although we didn’t do any cooking here as there are several excellent tavernas within easy walking distance. If you like freshly grilled fish, you have found your place! We would definitely stay here again and would be happy to recommend it to friends. Thank you Eleni and Nicklaus!
