A quiet paradise in the woods. A great place to connect with nature and relax. There is a 2 person kayak that are shared with our other treehouse guests and a single person kayak. Life jackets supplied. (2 adults and 3 children) Also a raft that goes out into lake on a cable for swimming. We have a 2 person swing to relax on in the sun. Wifi arriving soon. Along the path there is a seperate building which houses the toilet and a different building for shower. Treehouse comfortable for two. Fire pit located close to the lake and a trail that goes to the kayak and the raft. Relax on our Bali inspired swing. Sunbath on the wharf SHARED-Two person kayak and raft. Shower disabled in the cold winter mths.

Acadian Home

Enjoy your stay near the Acadian shores in our spacious, breezy, fully renovated historic Acadian home. Originally built in 1837, this home has been brought up to today's expectations for comfort, functionality and environmental sustainability. It sleeps 5. There is also an inflatable air mattress - double and pump and space to accommodate two extra guests. Includes: private hot tub and firepit, shared sauna, cold plunge, lake access, public wood fired hot tub (great for groups when booking one than more cabin) canoe, kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boat, sandy beach, floating mat and more.

At the Ford du Lac

In the rural Acadian community of Clare, you will find our fully equipped 1 bedroom + loft A-Frame style chalet sitting on a small lake. The beautiful view can be enjoyed from wall to wall windows, wrap around deck, or while sitting in the hot tub. Loft: 1 king & 1 single bed. Downstairs bedroom: 1 queen bed. Living room: double pull out sofa & futons. We are rural, although not remote. We live next door so let us know if anything is missing during your stay!

Cottage includes 1 Queen bed, 1 Double bed, and a pull-out sofa bed. Prior to your arrival we will send you detailed directions as you will travel roughly 8km on maintained dirt roads. We live on the same lake so we won't be far if you need anything.
