Our Cabin in the Trees

Rural location in Tappen. Our 400 sq ft one bedroom suite is equipped with a full kitchen, living space and a bathroom with a shower. Whether you are looking for a weekend escape, attending a local event, or in transit between Vancouver and Calgary, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of our surroundings. We have a second unit on the ground floor of our house called The Sunset Studio. If you are traveling with someone else and they would like their own space, check its availability calendar.

A Suite Above

"A Suite Above" is a gateway to adventure suitable for all seasons. You can enjoy a view of Shuswap Lake on your private deck with the natural gas barbecue - you’ll never run out of gas! The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, utensils, glasses, mugs, coffee maker, kettle and other amenities that will allow you to have a meal on the deck or at the dining table in the suite. The suite is air conditioned and the living area has a cozy natural gas fireplace for those cooler days and nights.

Historic Log Cabin & RV site, lakeside sauna avail

Authentic Finnish Log Cabin on Lakefront property at White Lake. Space for an RV is available. This small log cabin is perfect if you want a simple comfortable place to relax close to the lake. Not a glossy hotel, more upscale rustic. Relax around a campfire, enjoy beautiful sunsets from the dock a short walk from the cabin, rent the wood heated sauna, go for a hike or go fishing. We are on the quiet side of the lake and this is the only rental on the property. We live here year-round.

Welcome to our newly renovated 1200 sq. ft. lower level suite, just minutes drive from Shuswap Lake Provincial Park. Enjoy beautiful green and stunning views of the lake in this private getaway with your own entrance and parking. The generous kitchen is equipped with all the essentials, there are 2 queen beds and a double bed, a washer and dryer, a smart TV, a plug-in next to your parking area and games for the family. Minutes drive to the grocery store and the provincial park.

Cosy studio cabin/ yard with easy highway access

Whether it’s your home on the way or a longer stay, you will enjoy your time here. Our little cabin has been recently fully renovated and is very clean. It is situated just 5 minute drive to Sunnybrae beach, 10 minutes to Blind Bay and Salmon Arm is just 15 minutes away. The yard shares a fence with horses, sheep and entertaining goats. We welcome well behaved dogs in the cabin, please let us know if you will be bringing one.

Come explore the area and unwind each evening at our farm 18kms East of Salmon Arm. Benefit from the natural therapy of being in the presence of the Alpacas, and allow the sound of the hens clucking to replace the regular noise of life’s chaos.
