Clean, comfortable and inviting place to stay in an superb location in the Catskills -- short drive to Woodstock and Phoenicia, for shops and restaurants, and short drive to trailheads for hiking. Everything from linens to cups and glasses to the complimentary coffee was top notch. Friendly hosts! Seamless stay. Highly recommend!

Thank you, Harvey, for a lovely stay in your beautiful guest house. Harvey's description is very detailed. The place was spotless and cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the bathroom - amazing water pressure! The view from the living room was dreamy, and the place is bathed in light. Fire making in the woodstove is not available from March - October, but the heating system works well. Great restaurants and a very quaint downtown added to our fun. If you can, make time for massage from Harvey's neighbor, Sarite, an exceptionally skilled massage therapist. I expected some kitchen amenities that were not available, like aluminum foil, a measuring cup, and a non-stick pan. If you plan on cooking, you might want to check with Harvey to see if he provides what you need. The frig is rather small, which is also helpful to know if you're planning elaborate meals.

We spent two nights here, and the best word to describe it is magical. The setting is spectacular; if you did nothing but watch the light and landscape, you would have a wonderful time. Bev is an amazing host. She has put a lot of love into the cottage and gardens, and you can feel the good energy all around you. We just loved our time there, and we hope to return. What a beautiful, serene oasis!

The host was very responsive and accommodating for an earlier checkin. The house was very clean, had everything we needed and was the perfect size for us. I would definitely recommend this if you are staying in the Woodstock area.
