Great private one bedroom lower floor suite which qualifies under new regulations. Parksville/Qualicum, have the best beaches on Vancouver Island. This suite has large windows that look out at a field, rabbits, deer, and mountains. Beautiful 2.5 acre property with walking trails near by. Englishman river and Rathtreavor beach are a 5 min drive away. Great kayaking and scuba diving. Central island location, see Tofino one day and Victoria another. Lovely stay! We were excited for our first experience glamping and our expectations were blown out of the water! The yurts are positioned far enough away to still allow for a sense of privacy when other guests were present. The yurts heat up quite fast with the provided space heaters but we found bringing an extra blanket didn’t hurt! Overall, They have curated a lovely space and we will definitely be back again.

And the sauna… wow. It was an unforgettable experience. Lighting the firewood ourselves and relaxing in the private sauna felt like pure bliss and healing. It honestly felt like we stepped into a fairytale for a little while. The beach was also nearby, making it easy to go back and forth. This place is a true gem.

Karen’s place was peaceful, comfortable, and had everything I needed. It’s just a short 9-minute walk to the local pub for dinner, and the backyard was full of birdsong—so relaxing. As an avid hiker, I appreciated that Karen recommended a nearby trail, and I was also able to find a few others in the area. During my stay, I did a beautiful hike and even went on a unique goat hiking excursion about an hour away. Karen’s hospitality was gracious and kind—she was even up early to see me off before checkout, which meant a lot. I truly appreciated the quiet, the care she puts into hosting, and the overall peaceful atmosphere. I will definitely come back again!

A lovely home nestled in the woods above the trees. I spent a couple of nights with this as my home base. It was a great location to come home to after adventuring to places in the area and before heading on to the west coast. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular! The quiet stillness was incredible with only the birds chirping. So peaceful!
