Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Cooks Beach

Great bach with lots of space, worked for our family group perfectly (including our two dogs - really appreciate you being pet friendly). Liked that the kitchen/lounge area was upstairs to take advantage of the view. Loved the window seat and the outdoor shower was very handy after being at the beach. Proximity to the beach was great too. Responsive comms throughout with the host. Otama Bay is such a special place, we all enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The view from this property is absolutely breathtaking, making for an unforgettable stay. The host was fantastic—warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the local area. Julie was a great host! Her home is literally on the beachfront so great to place to go for a quick swim and picnic right outside from your stay. Child friendly as well - my toddler enjoyed all the toys available for the beach. Large bedrooma with two facing the beach front for amazing views and waking up to the sound of the waves. Large kitchen with all amenities found. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back sometime soon!

We had a great stay! Location was perfect with a short walk to the beach. The house was older and not a professional airbnb but Mark was upfront about this so everything was all good!

We really enjoyed our stay. You could picture happy family holidays spent in the cottage in the past. While the cottage has some age on it, it had all the facilities we required, the beds were comfortable, everything was really clean and in working condition. Being able to take the short walk to the beach to watch the sun rise each morning was great. Waking to the sound of bird song in the morning was special, as was having two NZ wood pigeons join us as we sat on the deck enjoying a cup of coffee the first morning. With the cafes and the Cathedral Cove shuttle only a short walk away, we were able to park our car securely beside the cottage and leave it there. It suited our style of travelling.

Christines place is great! It’s clean, well equipped and great house for a nice vacation. Garden is lovely with an outdoor fire and grass for kids to play around on. I would 100% stay again. We were two families with four kids in total and it worked very well. House is close to the playground and beach which makes it even better:)

Amazing place to stay, we absolutely loved it. Very rustic and cosy, fireplace and outdoor shower were fabulous ! Despite the rain we were warm and felt very much at home. Super-comfy bed. Location is very handy to main Coromandel town for dinner out. We'd love to stay again!

Katrina’s cabin was a cosy spot, in beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay, and would love to head back to stay after doing The Pinnacles walk.

Nice spot, easy access to beach. There for a wedding so didn't spend much time at the house but large deck area was inviting and house had everything we needed. 2 double rooms and one with 2 singles upstairs. One shared bathroom upstairs. Downstairs one double room, shower downstairs and separate toilet but shower is in laundry/entrance so we didn't use it. Might be an issue if you had mobility challenges or a big group. Lots of nice art. Beds were good. Over all enjoyed our stay.

It was a clean and beautiful house with cosy interiors and a well stocked pantry. Modern and clean bathrooms. Plenty parking space in driveway as well as off street. Large fenced backyard was heaven for our pet. A good sized deck with seating and barbecue. My family and I enjoyed our stay there and were very comfortable.
