A beautiful, well equipped little gîte, with everything you could possibly need. The garden is so peaceful, and within a few minutes drive of les lacs de Haute Charente, which are ideal for dog walking. We loved meeting Harry the resident dog. Thank you to Anneguus and Dirk, for being so welcoming. I hope to return some day.

We had a great 4-day stay in Angoulême. The accommodation was impeccable, spotless and tastefully decorated. A real pleasure to settle in and enjoy the comfort offered. Tiffany, the owner, was very kind and very accommodating for the check-in and check-out times, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We sincerely thank her and would highly recommend her place!

Céline and her husband are charming, helpful and very responsive, a beautifully restored haven of peace, bravo, the decor is very harmonious, a guaranteed relaxation for the weekend,☺️ we will come back!

Wedding weekend at Château de Brie (if you are sightseeing in the area, this beautiful estate can be visited) we enjoyed our few hours of rest in Jeannette's very peaceful little house. We couldn't meet but we had very good exchanges with Jeannette to prepare for our arrival.

we arrived in a rural area, with a charming French house with beautiful garden,rightly. We were allowed to check in earlier and were welcomed by a friendly host, who showed us around the house. There were plenty of brochures about the area and even a book in Dutch with the history of Ordanour-sur-Glane. We visited the memorial center. Very impressive. Thierry gave me cuttings of plants for our garden at home. So kind. He has plans to convert more parts of his farm into tourist accommodation. Nice to come back again and stay a little longer and see more of the area.

Beautiful rental, a real joy. Yes, I confirm a paradise the accommodation is impeccable, it feels like home we enjoyed the pool, a delight, and it was heated Brigitte and Michel are available if needed and give you good tips for visiting their regions which are beautiful we'll be happy to go back. thanks for everything you're the best

Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. We would totally recommend this place and we will definitely return. Kim and Carol

We had a lovely stay at this quiet, peaceful and well-maintained accommodation. We were able to enjoy the outdoor facilities (barbecue, pool, outdoor games available), which was very nice. Communication with the host was excellent, James is very responsive, and informs you about the different local activities/restaurants. Thanks again for this stay, I recommend it.

We had a great couple of weeks here. It proved an ideal location from which to explore the Périgord Vert. A very peaceful spot with a secure garden for our dog and walks nearby. The facilities in the cottage were excellent and as described and we really appreciated the bottle of wine and home made cake on arrival. The pool was very relaxing and comfortable and easily warm enough to swim in late May. There is an (excellent) boulangerie in the nearest village which is walkable and supermarkets for provisions in Brantôme. Several nearby towns had markets. Suzy and Steve (and Alfie) were lovely hosts and we fully recommend it. It was exactly what we wanted.

Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. A true haven of peace! We had a relaxing stay at Nadine's in a welcoming, neat, tastefully decorated cottage. The setting is idyllic and Nadine advised us on visits and places to see in the area. We'll be happy to go back!

Having booked the accommodation for guests for a sporting and charitable event in the area, I did not occupy the accommodation but the occupants all enjoyed their stay.
