This is THE MOST amazing location. Pictures do not do this place justice. It felt like we were staying in a Jane Austen novel. Christian and his wife were the sweetest, most patient and helpful hosts. The place was SPOTLESS, the atmosphere was completely idyllic. It was better than expected, we couldn't believe it when we arrived. This was the true, original kind of Airbnb experience. Personal, comfortable, local. Do not hesitate to book. We wanted to just stay and rest and hang out here for a week. Christian went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues with our car. They stopped by to say goodbye and see us off. It will be our favorite memory from our trip .

A very clean property in a remote setting. The stairs are a little steep and a bit tricky at night as the only toilet is downstairs. Overall we had a good stay

The Old House looks exactly like the photos, we liked the style very much. David welcomed us nicely and gave us many tips on what to see in the area.

It's not easy to find a place to stay for a family or friends get together. Everything is there here. Number of bedrooms and beds, recreational equipment for children and adults, dishes, seats, all in number for a large group. It's clean. My garden is nice, like the house. Thanks again for this weekend!

We had a lovely family weekend at Sylvie and Jo's, excellent hospitality, very warm people. Responsive to messages & very accommodating to check-in and check-out times. A very well maintained, clean house and description/photos 100% similar to reality. It is also very well located, quiet, but very close to shops. The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

An excellent stay in an exceptional setting. Located near the Houlgate Golf Course, this peaceful haven offers many on-site activities (darts, foosball, table tennis, volleyball, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, pinball, pool, karaoke). The perfect place for an EVG or a multi-activity stay with friends. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the accommodation is very well equipped and close to Houlgate for walks on the beach!

I had a great time at the squirrel cottage. The cottage is very clean, very well equipped and in an extraordinary place where nature is omnipresent and where the only noise is the birds singing. The area is ideal for hiking. Finally, Muriel and Didier are very accommodating with check-in and checkout times. A place, therefore, that I highly recommend.

Perfect, Ionut was very responsive and the accommodation matches the description. Namely, there are rooms without the possibility of blackout windows, which can be a nuisance for some. Very quiet and very well-equipped.
