We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

If you're looking for a quiet oasis in the countryside, this is the place to be! The view is magnificent, the sunset a dream. The treehouse is comfortably furnished, in the kitchen there are the most important utensils so you can cook well at home. In the vicinity there are countless small tranquil villages, which are among the most beautiful places in France. In the preseason, some activities, such as canoeing, are usually not yet open, which did not bother us as we mainly focused on hiking and resting. Anne is a wonderful hostess - she was quickly available for questions and stopped by if necessary. Gladly again :-)

we stayed for a week in April with the three of us. We were the only guests but had a wonderfully quiet week. The house was beautiful, modern, robust with everything we needed.

Exceptional!! Everything was absolutely perfect, the place is beautiful and very well decorated. Gilles and Nicole are extremely kind and made us feel very welcome in their haven. We were also able to enjoy the hot tub, the heated pool and the small vegetable garden in their garden. The optional breakfast was also delicious. These few days in their cottage were a real enchanted break.

Very pleasant stay in this small cottage very well furnished, with everything, including food! Very discreet hosts but very attentive to well-being. Peaceful and serene setting that we would be happy to see again during a future stay!

We had a great weekend at Laure's, at the dovecote. The setting is conducive to disconnection. The famous village Collonges la rouge is within easy walking distance and beautiful walks are to be taken. The accommodation, atypical, was clean and provided all the necessary equipment. A welcome organic apple juice was waiting for us. A big thank you to Laure for her communication, kindness and flexibility on our departure time. A beautiful place to decompress!

Very beautiful quiet house with two large bedrooms. Missing some kitchen essentials (oil, salt, sugar...). Note that this accommodation is located in an agricultural environment (market gardener), possibility of presence of tractors.

What a charm when you arrive in Marcillac-Saint-Quentin! The driveway reveals a wooded and well-kept park with a large shared swimming pool. Exceptional hospitality from Mariette and Jacques! Mariette is discreet, attentive, very sweet and generous and has a sense of hospitality. The exposed stone house has a private garden with table, deckchairs and BBQ. - On the ground floor, freshness is welcome: equipped kitchen, Louis Philippe living room, renovated furniture. Majestic open fireplace, ready to be lit. Another nice touch. - Upstairs 2 spacious bedrooms, also well-kept. Quality bedding and linens. Pleasure from the morning to open the windows, listen to the birds singing and watch the squirrel jumping from tree to tree. The house located 10 min from Sarlat, not far from Lascaux, is perfect for reconnecting with nature. It's a peaceful haven with beautiful energy. We'll be happy to go back! I would highly recommend it

The house is located in a quiet area amidst greenery and birds. It is independent of Christian and Christine's house located just behind. The house is very well-equipped and comfortable inside and outside (garden furniture, deckchair, petanque court, etc.). We were warmly welcomed and Christian's advice was invaluable. We enjoyed the tranquility of the place and made many visits and walks in the surroundings. In short, a pleasant stay and beautiful encounters.

Delphine and Nathalie offered us a beautiful, clean and well appointed accommodation. The amenities are more than sufficient for a vacation stay with friends and family. Our two hosts are extremely kind and perfectly attentive to the slightest problem. We had a great time at their place, recommended without hesitation!

What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

We loved our stay so much and look forward to returning. The house and extensive grounds are quite beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect in every way. Diana and her husband were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome.

A great little gite. Located in a lovely quiet village. Everything you would need is there. Swimming pool and garden are better than we expected from the pictures. Raphael was really friendly and welcoming. Would very much recommend. Only caution would be the stairs are very tricky up to the second bedroom so not suitable for anyone with limited mobility and also it gets very cold so bring a jumper (although everything is there to make fire up whis is really nice). We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

Serges is very nice and prepares the house like a hotel. The photos totally match reality. The house has 5 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, offering good independence to all. The accommodation is extremely quiet with a very pleasant setting for a weekend with loved ones or for sightseeing. Great stay, I recommend it👌.

Large property, quiet, clean, with a beautiful outdoor pool. The house is spacious enough for 8 people. Big plus: the house is very well-equipped (coffee, sugar, breakfast, tea towel, toilet paper...). For a short stay like ours it was a pleasant surprise to find all these amenities on site. Xavier was very welcoming and accommodating throughout the stay. Thank you

A beautiful, peaceful base from which to explore this wonderful area - so much to see and do! The house is really lovely and is in a gorgeous setting and Patricia has thought of everything!
