We had such a lovely long weekend. The different & carefully thought through spaces worked so well for 3 adults (parents & 17 year old son). Fabulous views from the decking and a pub with great food in walking distance. Sam is a perfect host & left us to ourselves. I’d highly recommend & would love to go back.

This was our second time staying at The Milking Parlour and once again, it was absolutely lovely. The place is spotless, cosy, and full of charm—perfect for a relaxing break. We really appreciated the helpful book Hilary provided with local recommendations. This time, we took a drive out to Lynton and Lynmouth, which we chose from the guide. What a beautiful and quaint little area—definitely worth the visit! Whether you're after peace and quiet or something a bit more active, the surrounding area has some stunning walking trails and scenic spots to explore. We couldn’t recommend The Milking Parlour highly enough, 5 stars 🌟

As promised we definitely did make a great memories in the house. The place is huge, u get everything as described in the pictures plus a great book collection. We spent most of our time just in the Kitchen & Garden area. It was perfect sunny day, a great place to get away from a city hustle.
