We had an excellent time at the Tin Poppy Retreat. Civilization is a stone’s throw away yet you are truly immersed in the serenity of nature in this location. If you are lucky enough to have some decent wind and rain roll through you are in for a fun, wild and cozy night. We hope to be back someday.

An absolutely wonderful experience and host. One of the best Airbnb’s that I’ve stayed at thus far. We were a group of 6 adults - work colleagues, staying two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The location is very peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by forests, it’s a true gem. Easy to get there and easy access. Barb’s home was very clean and the amenities were plentiful, there was even bear spray available - every detail was well thought out. Beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We all felt at home - WiFi worked great. Barb’s description and instructions were spot on, easy to follow and very friendly. We enjoyed it so much, that we will definitely return with our families. Highly recommended for families or a group of friends wanting to experience the true Canadian Rockies. Thanks for the great experience :)

Such a cute place to stay with so many animals living their best life. It was a great stay and felt like home. Great location, close to the lake and the Mara Foodliner and Enderby. We hoped the drive in movie theatre nearby would be open, but it wasn’t: next time! Thank you Heidi.

Had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin at beautiful White Lake. Everything was comfortable and well kept with extra attention to little details. This place had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Natalia was such a great host and we enjoyed our visit very much as well as some extras that I wasn’t expecting including their little goats and animals that they have on site which were a pleasant surprise. We will happily go back for another stay at this place. Thank you Natalia! 🫶

Linda and Al were such kind and generous hosts and we loved our time at the cabin. It was so serene being surrounded by ginormous trees and mountains painting the landscapes right as you step out of the front door of the cabin. To make it even better, there was a pig, majestic horses and some incredibly friendly dogs that greeted us and protected us. Everyday, it was a nice surprise to have the dogs run up to us and try to play or get our attention. The cabin itself is very cozy and comfortable - it is perfect for two people and it heats up really well and gets toasty in the winter. The wood cabin, all the decorations, and even the dishes all perfectly matched the setting we were in and it was a lovely stay. We would love to be back!

Wow, what an amazing experience. The Bunkhouse was exactly as described in terms of location, facilities, and most importantly, the vibe of the whole ranch - due in no small part to Leo. I would recommend the ranch to any visitors to the Canadian Rockies who want a totally unique place to stay. We also took part in Leo's buffalo tour which happens every morning. Lasts 1.5 hours, and it's captivating hearing all about the buffalo from an enthusiastic Leo - plus you get up close and personal to the buffalo!

Beautiful Heritage Property for a wonderful weekend with friends. Good communication, great amenities. Lovely hot tub and gorgeous living areas. Comfy beds. Superb for large gatherings.

It is a beautiful and peaceful place. The suite is in the basement but it is above ground with tons of day light. The kitchen is fully equipped and not with just 4 plates but with up to 12 so you can start the dishwasher and still have plenty of dishes. Any appliances you can think about, it is in this suite. The place is very modern with a nice personal touch with cozy blankets. They have fresh farm eggs that you can purchase for a great breakfast. Sometimes farm land can be a bit messy but not this place. It is pristine. You can't walk to restaurants but you can still cook an amazing meal in that great kitchen. The beds are very comfortable. Overall it is a great place that I highly recommend.

We had a lovely time! Cat and Taro were very kind and helpful. The barn is huge and we felt very comfortable. We can definitely recommend to stay here.

Catherine was very proactive in her communication and the loft space was clean and homely. Some cute ponies to hang out with outside and I loved their efforts to make everything eco friendly both inside and outside. Kudos ! Would highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay in our yurt at Thea and Troy’s bluegrass farm. The yurt was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the property itself was breathtaking. The hosts were great! Very accommodating and very friendly. We had some great conversations. If I could leave a 6 star review I would! We will definitely be booking there again next year, and will most likely bring friends with us as they have 2 yurts and a guesthouse. They also had some amazing recommendations for food/drink and things to do throughout the day. Overall it was an amazing experience!

This place perfect served our needs. Plenty of beds and a full kitchen. Lots of space to hang out. Sarah was friendly and quick to respond to my messages. Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Darcy’s guesthouse. First of all, Darcy and Chris were fantastic hosts. Darcy greeted us warmly when we arrived and constantly asked us if we needed anything, which we did not as we found everything perfect. Darcy and Chris met us during our stay and made sure that we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. Their House Manual was clear and precise. And Darcy provided additional and useful information about nearby trails where I could go jogging. That was an added attraction as the forest trails were very close to the property. The property was clean, comfortable and cozy. The highlight was the deck, which is totally private with views of farmland and forests. And of course, the hot tub was a luxury. I highly recommend Darcy’s place, not only for the comfort, privacy, beauty and cleanliness, but topping it off was the genuine warmth and friendliness of the hosts.

Rachel and Yolanda did such a wonderful job communicating and setting the place up for us! The property accommodated 15 of us with plenty of space. The property is beautiful and there were so many fun activities to keep everyone occupied. We all had so much fun and would return in an instant. Thanks so much for being so accommodating!

We loved our time here. Exactly as described, easy to find and a short drive to downtown sicamous. Rupert the dog was the greatest, he makes himself right at home! Thanks for the stay, will definitely be back!

Staying at Leo's guesthouse on the buffalo ranch was an absolutely spectacular experience. He is an amazingly low-key and easygoing host, and the property is so very special. We spent a whole day just wandering by the river and enjoying the hot tub while the buffalo grazed in the pasture; it was paradise. I dream of being able to come here again!

Our family of 50 gathered here for an unforgettable reunion, and this stunning mountain property exceeded every expectation! The expansive grounds offered breathtaking views and endless opportunities for fun and connection—hiking, games, relaxing by the fire, and more. There was ample space for everyone to gather comfortably, and the kitchen facilities were a dream for prepping and serving large meals. Every detail was thoughtfully provided, making our stay seamless and stress-free. The lodge itself is simply breathtaking—words and photos can't capture its beauty, warmth, and craftsmanship. Most of all, the hosts were incredibly generous and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. There's a powerful spirit of peace and togetherness in this place that truly made our time here memorable.

Beautiful cabin, we really enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the power went out for a couple hours both days due to outside factors. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.

Dive and immerse yourself into this beautiful Paradise. For those of you, who are looking to get away from the busy world, noise and constant structures, timetables and responsibilities. This gem will give you serenity, peace and quiet, seclusion without being far away from Town Center, simply refuge from the busyness of your world and the world at large. Tranquility, restfulness, calmness, silence are only a few words that describe this place, but don't do it any justice, really. It sure is pure land here and the nature surrounding you is healing. I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The natural darkness and the silence at night are simply priceless. I LOVE the bed and the bedroom, the location. It feels like heaven. Book in and enjoy. Have a splendid time at Bierri's Paradise Guesthouse.
