A completely furnished apartment in the basement of our log home (our main residence) on 5 acres of woods above beautiful Shavehead Lake. Entrance into the apartment through a screened in porch and double French doors provides privacy and space to relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoor landscape. A large egress window allows natural sunlight into the bedroom on the opposite side of the wall from the kitchen/dining room/living room. High speed internet & YouTubeTV provide entertainment options.

Stay in our redecorated entire upstairs level with pass-coded private entry to come and go as you please. Queen bed in the primary bedroom, a double in the second bedroom. (2 cots can be set up for any youth). Full bath with tub and shower, TV room with Kuerig, microwave, mini frig, and back wood’s view. Relax on front porch. Short walk to Fairgrounds and Pumpkin Vine trail. Close by places to eat. Notre Dame is 45 mins away. Shipshewana -40 mins. 60 miles to Lake MI. 3 hr drive to Chicago.

Come stay in our private-access, BASEMENT apartment, while you visit our town of Shipshewana. Our home sits in the middle of 7 acres of woods. We love it here, and we hope you do too! Our goal, as your hosts, is to provide you with a reasonably priced, cozy space, where you feel like you are visiting a friend, not staying at a high end hotel. The Cabin has a total of 420 sq ft living space with 280 sq ft on the ground floor and a 140 sq ft bedroom loft.
