Apartment vacation rentals in Colombo

I was privileged to have stayed at 7 Amber as it brought back nostalgic memories of my childhood. The welcome Ravi and Rohini gave me was warm, friendly and typical of Sri Lankan hospitality. On arrival, I found food in the fridge to keep me going for the first couple of days. This helped me to get settled and enjoy the the apartment. The apartment was like a home from home. I felt very relaxed and comfortable. It was spacious, clean and safe. The flat was very well equipped. There was a balcony at the front with a decked area. It was lovely to sit, enjoy a cup of Ceylon tea and listen to the birds. The apartment is an ideal location as it was very central and you could walk to the shops, supermarkets, hotels and restaurants. Ravi and Rohini were very friendly, kind and helpful. They even brought delicious home cooked Sri Lankan food for me on several occasions. I was very sad to leave as I felt I had become part of the family. I would highly recommend this apartment.

We had a fantastic stay at Tash’s place. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and has very comfy beds. The view from the balcony is even more impressive in person. We enjoyed sunbathing and using the pool on floor 6. Tash relplied to our messages quickly, was very helpful and left clear and precise check in instruction. She also very kindly allowed us to have a late check out. Thanks so much Tash!😊🙏

thanks to the host for flexible check-in process because I came little bit earlier so he offered me the identical apartment that was already prepared for my check in and i could take a good rest. the apartment is perfectly clean itself, and the building is also very nice, i loved the rooftop and pool area! The location cannot be better and I also was lucky to face the festival of Wesak that was happening just on the same street. It was all of the lights and amazing vibes - so beautiful. I will come again!

Peter was an amazingly proactive and helpful host, more than happy to give help and advice and answer any questions. The apartment was just as described. Very comfortable with good facilities and a perfect mix of being on a relatively quiet street with sea views but so close to amenities and transport options.

I spent 22 days in Sudath's place, and I only have good things to say. Sudath and Achala are a wonderful couple. They are passionate artists and the most hospitable and generous folk. It was great just talking to them and visiting their gallery. It was more than just a stay, it was a great experience.

Mohamed is a great host. His facility is well situated (Colombo 7). I would unreservedly recommend this place.

One of our best AirBNB stays. Nanditha was very responsive, was flexible with accommodating our request for a late check out as our flight was in the night. The place was clean and organized, pleasant vibe and felt very comfortable. Would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a convenient stay in Colombo.

Janik’s place was absolutely the best. There was so much attention to detail. The kitchen had all necessities. The bathrooms had all the amenities plus towels in all sizes. There was a lot of storage space in all the rooms & kitchen. The washing machine was very useful for a long stay. Even washing powder was provided (but we prefer liquid detergent so we got our own). In addition to the three main rooms there was a small extra room and an additional bathroom of a good size, which we didn’t know was there when we went. (We didn’t have to use this but shared the info in case someone is interested). All the rooms & the living room were very cheerful with windows facing outside & a lot of sunshine coming in, which I loved! The scenery was beautiful as it overlooked the Colombo golf course! It was very peaceful with the sounds of birds chirping & no traffic noise. The very best part was that the place was squeaky clean with comfy beds! Total value for money! Thank u Janik!

We stayed at Nidaal’s place for 4 weeks. The flat is incredibly spacious with incredible views over the Lotus tower. The apartment building gives access to the pool and gym which are both great facilities. Nidaal was very quick to communicate with us and sorted any issues we had promptly and checked in with us across our stay to make sure we were all well! The cleaner is also very lovely and always cleaned the apartment to a high standard. Definitely an ideal place to stay in Colombo- thank you Nidaal!

Nice place! The area is not the nicest but this is negombo in general. But it provides a variety of good restaurants and dilan even had some tips for us. Thanks!

I’m extremely fussy when it comes to cleanliness, and this place exceeded all expectations. Every corner was spotless, fresh, and beautifully maintained. You could tell that real care and pride go into looking after this property. It honestly felt like walking into our own home but better! Gayan’s attention to detail made the stay even more special. Everything we needed was provided, and more. Check-in was easy, the location was perfect, and we felt completely safe and comfortable throughout our stay. Dons place is a very convenient location to lots of quick access eateries and fast transport options. The place is clean and tidy and as described. Will be back again during my next visit to Sri Lanka

Very warm cordial and helpful host. Very convenient and secure location with a Mall close by which had a lot of options for variety of food. Availability of Walking trail , Swimming Pool and Gym facilities within the compound of the property was ideal.

We stayed for a week and absolutely loved it—so cozy and spotless! Check-in was super easy, and the owner was incredibly polite and always quick to respond. Really made us feel at home

To all my fellow Indian travellers, this is the place to stay in Colombo—posh, away from pesky neighbours, and totally private. 1) Located in a high-rise, the cute little apartment is ideal for 2 couples or a family of 4. 2) The apartment is clean and well lit, as in the pictures. It is modern and equipped with a big fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, geysers, AC, and hob. 3) If any issues arise, ask. The host is gracious and resolves them immediately. We had a comfortable and relaxed stay. Good luck and God bless.

Fabulous location and stylish apartment. Well Maintained with fabulous amenities including two pools, a gym and restaurant within the premises. Nilushi was a great host and was extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment had two spacious rooms for 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. It is located in one of Colombo’s most sought after neighbourhoods with easy access to restaurants, cafes, shops and bars. We had a wonderful time and will certainly be back again!!! Thank you Nilushi!!!

This is a fantastic apartment in a lovely upmarket neighbourhood of Colombo. Shayani was great to communicate with, check-in was easy and the place was spotlessly clean. The flat is well equipped, the beds are comfy and the balcony provides a superb view towards the Colombo seafront. There’s a great little supermarket nearby, along with a Barista coffee shop. In addition to the trendy Wildish restaurant on the ground floor of the building, there are many great restaurants in Park St Mews which is an easy walking distance. This apartment is highly recommmended. We will definitely return. Five stars.

Second time we stayed here and it didn’t let us down. Very much private as described. Highly recommend and we look forward to returning in a near future.
