Vacation rentals with a hot tub in College Township

This is our 3rd year staying here and already booked for next year. Location is great for the event that we attend every year. Quiet and you couldn't ask for better hosts.

We highly recommend this wonderful, peaceful place. Will definitely check availability when we visit again. Loved the firepit and the hot tub. Got to use the grill for burgers with the family. The kids had so much fun playing pool and the games in the game room. We all had a wonderful time!

We stayed at this Airbnb for the Bucknell graduation. It’s about 25min away from campus and suited our needs perfectly. Much more affordable for the 6 of us than paying inflated hotel prices. The only downside was one bathroom, but we knew that and planned accordingly. The place was cute and clean and quiet, and the host was awesome and prompt to respond. 5 stars!

JoeAnna's place was perfect for our family to relax and enjoy time together. She was an exceptional host and very attentive to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and had plenty of room. The pool and hot tub were awesome and we used them daily. Highly recommend her place to anyone wanting a quiet, peaceful, and enjoyable stay in State College.

Nice, old rustic house has been modernized with nice decor. Jennifer was responsive and such a sweetheart. There were multiple folded towels and washcloths on each bed with a chocolate mint added, various toiletries multiple throws/blankets, and TVs in every BR. I brought my service dog and it was a joy to see entrance separators so I could close off the steps outside but sit back on the deck with him and enjoy the weather and view. The game room was a special touch along with the hot tub, and four BRs with Queens and Kings versus smaller size beds (i.e., twin-size or full). The house was fully stocked with everything one would or could use from a myriad of kitchen utensils, kitchenware, spices, etc. Each BR and living areas are individually controlled, which is great, but the the heating/cooling system could use some tweaks and perhaps upgrades. Some cobwebs on the ceilings of one of the bedrooms so some dusting inside and on the deck. Overall, peaceful; loved it!

Loved this space! Rebekah was very responsive and very helpful during our stay. We had a minor problem with the A\C that the owners worked quick to fix, and the home and outside area was amazing. Would 100% stay here again the next time we may go to the area!

Beautiful, clean cabin with all listed amenities. Spacious with plenty of sleeping and bathroom space. Fully stocked efficient kitchen. Hottub works and is very roomy. Peaceful woodland scenery. Neighbors seemed visually curious about us.

We stayed at this property for a race in the area and enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, spacious, and the hosts were incredibly responsive anytime we had questions. The property is nestled in a secluded part of the state college area and has a beautiful view but relatively easy access to Penn state (an easy 20 min to Beaver stadium). Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we ever find ourselves in the area!

This was the most peaceful expierence staying at the Chubb Retreat. The first Airbnb where we had no complaints about cleaning. if you don't like the outdoors then this place is not for you. It was a nice and relaxing get away we needed before our annual Holy Convocation to refuel and decompress. There is something to do here for everyone. We had ages 2 thru 60 plus. Everyone loved it so much, that we found our annual get away. The host was very responsive, we had some minor issues and notified the host and they ready to help resolve the issue. Even was willing to offer. late check out. Thankfully we did not need it but appreciated the accommodation. If you want a place that feels like home and the host make you feel welcome. Then this is the spot. Our group (especially the young adults) can't wait to go back next year. The home is off in the woods but about 30 to 50 minutes from surrounding towns and about an 1hr from Hersey Park. Great family vacation spot for large crowds.

Me and my family had such a wonderful stay. The cabin was absolutely perfect for us. We had so much fun cooking over the fire and making memories! Great place to escape and be surrounded by nature! 😊

We were 12 guys riding motorcycles and had a great stay here. We stayed three nights and rode around the great twisty roads in southern PA. This place was perfect. Every guy had a separate bed to sleep in and the 5 bathrooms came in handy. The place was very clean. The driveway is paved which is a big asset for bikes. The host let us store our bikes in the detached garage. The house was fully stocked. All we needed to bring were our cloths and food. Everything else we needed was there. I highly recommend staying here if you are someone who wants a quiet and secluded place to relax. You will need to drive 20 miles to nearest supermarket and the nearest gas station is about the same distance away. This was not a problem for us. We spent our days riding. There is a very nice little Amish Cafe about 15 miles up the road.

Beautiful place. In redoble property with so much to do for adults and kids. Our group has 6 kids 5 and under and they had a blast. Thanks for hosting us !

Amazing host to fit the amazing surroundings, beautiful cabin, very cozy and accommodating to just stay and escape the hectic city life and recharge in mother nature. Gary was very helpful on finding things to do in the area. Grocery store and little shops/restaurants were about 15 miles away in Huntingdon, but well worth the drive because of the scenery. Definitely recommend and can't wait to be able to visit again.

It was the perfect quick getaway for our 25th anniversary! The home is located in a beautiful part of Central Pennsylvania along Penn’s Creek. It was easy to find, the amenities and property were accurately described, and the home was also charming (with many personal touches that shared the heart of the host). Jill was proactive in communicating with us and very responsive. In short: we loved our stay and hope to stay again in the future!
