We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made sure all of us felt welcome. Everything was new, fresh, and spotlessly clean. I booked the place for my in-laws and the place is exactly as you see it in the pictures! Everything is great in the apartment. Andrei is very helpful, responsive and very understanding. The apartment is literally in the center of the town so you have everything you need nearby. If we'll be back in Bistrita, we will definitely come back to this place.

Aura made us feel very welcome. We were a group of 10, with children, everyone with different needs and questions, which Aura answered promptly. It’s worth knowing the cabin is on a busy main national road, giving it great access to the whole area; the traffic sound is audible from the property. The cabin is situated next to a car demolition site, with shells of old cars, and construction works are taking place on the fields on top and below the house. So the beautifully designed building is not as remote and tranquil as it might appear from the photographs, which was a little disappointing. However, the cabin has great bbq facilities, jacuzzi and sauna. We were particularly thankful for Aura sending someone to turn the wood heating system on late in the evening, when the children were cold. The children were also super excited at Aura’s generosity sending local delicacies for breakfast.

The property corresponds to the description, it is very well heated and comfortable. The location is good – next to the park and just 3 minutes to the slopes. The host is extremely responsive and kind, ready to help with any question. I highly recommend it.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay. The host and his dad are very helpful and responsive - they assisted us from check in until check out. The location is walking distance from the Fontana Spa, you can also walk and do a mini trail hike on Cetatea Bufnițelor (the Owl Fortress), also eat at the restaurants near the area. Everything can be walked from the accommodation which is lovely. The house is also very clean, spacious, and there is BBQ grill available if you want to cook. We recommend staying here if you want to spend time with family and friends!

★★★★★ A Dream Stay in Vatra Dornei! Our stay at Ionel’s beautiful holiday home was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, Ionel’s warm hospitality made us feel at home. He made the fire for us every morning and evening, ensuring we were always cozy. The house is incredibly spacious, featuring six large, comfortable bedrooms, a beautifully designed living room, and a charming traditional aesthetic. I especially appreciated the two bedrooms with desks, which gave me the perfect space to work with my laptop and monitor. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials, so was the walk-in pantry. The outdoor BBQ gazebo was a dream—perfect for cooking and dining with family and friends. Ionel was also kind enough to let us bring our pup, who stayed warm in the entry hall. Every detail was thought out to make our stay exceptional. We truly can’t recommend this place and Ionel as a host enough. We’ll definitely be back!

We've spent only a weekend in this apartment but we've immediately felt like home because of the warm welcome offered by our host. It is located at walking distance from grocery stores, restaurants and City Hall. in general everything was like in description. When we'll need again accomodations in the city, this will be our top choice.

What an excellent place to unwind and admire the stunning views of Colibita Lake and Calimani Mountains. The host is friendly, quick to respond, and accommodating. The cottage is fully equipped, clean, and welcoming. Let's not overlook the delightful treats and fresh local goodies generously shared by the friendly neighbours, yum. We felt spoiled. As a young family with three kids (aged 12, 10, and 2), having ample space indoors and outdoors to play is paramount for us. Fortunately, it appears we chose the ideal spot. Given that the nautical center is just a stone's throw away, our days were filled with paddleboarding, boating, and swimming. The location is also great for hiking ( Peak Bistricioru from Calimani Mountains) as well as a few other peaks are easy reachable from this start up point. Highly recommended.
