Vacation rentals with breakfast in Colchester

Great place to stay if skiing at whiteface! Robert and Nancy were extremely helpful and quick to respond. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to lake placid.

I rented Jamie’s house for colleagues coming into town for an extended stay to provide them with a home away from home. It was a great location and Jamie was an excellent host. We had one small hiccup out of their control and they immediately responded, and they were in contact with me throughout the process. All was resolved in a few hours without any interruption to my colleagues stay.

We traveled from various parts of the country to Vermont for a cousin’s wedding in nearby Colchester, and staying at Frank and Carol’s farmhouse was the perfect choice. They were incredibly welcoming, communicative, and helpful throughout our stay. The historic home is tucked away in a quiet, scenic area with a charming brook alongside it. Mornings on the porch with a cup of Green Mountain coffee were a highlight. I also recommend taking a morning stroll to meet the friendly local farmers-such a peaceful and authentic experience. Highly recommend!

This is such a beautiful property, and the hosts are amazing. They were super friendly and helpful, and they shared a lot of local insight. The house is clean and quiet, and the view is phenomenal. We paddled on Lake Champlain right from the back yard and enjoyed amazing sunsets most every night. This is our second visit, and we hope to come back again. It's a wonderful space!

Vickie’s place was wonderful! Her home was immaculately clean and so peaceful and quiet. My mother and I loved our stay here!

Mary and Peter were great hosts. We were scheduled to arrive during a storm and they were nice enough to let us come a day early to avoid it. The house is also well stocked with winter sports and outdoor equipment which they were more than happy to loan out to us and provide recommendations on local hiking spots. An overall very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We spent a lovely four days at Angela's home. We were two couples staying in the area to attend a college sporting event and Angela's home proved to be a perfect place to stay. The home is located a few miles from Middlebury College in a charming and picturesque area. The photos do not do it justice. The views from the windows, which overlook the VT mountains, are nothing less than stunning. The home is spotless and meticulously maintained. Angela has wonderful taste in art and the home is beautifully decorated. The large, newly renovated kitchen was well stocked with high end appliances, dishes and glasses. The linens and towels in the bedrooms and bathrooms were of excellent quality. The beds were very comfortable. There were thoughtful touches left by Angela such as fresh flowers in three of the rooms, as well as wine, cheese and coffee for us to enjoy. All in all, it was an outstanding stay, and I highly recommend this Airbnb to other travelers!

Our family, comprising six adults and a baby, thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay here during a busy (solar eclipse) weekend in April. This property is brand new. There are a number of hotel rooms on the property. We stayed at the apartment suite just above the restaurant. The apartment was quite comfortable, offering ample space. It was impeccably clean, and everything was fresh and new. The convenience of having the restaurant just below was a definite highlight, making dining options easily accessible. We could hear noise from the restaurant in the evening but it did not wake our baby or impair our stay. There is a nice waterfall on the property. Proximity to Sugarbush was very good. Our hosts, TJ and Johnny, for the most part, were attentive and responsive. There was no TV in the unit or dressers in the rooms (we were told they may be adding a TV in the future). There was a bluetooth speaker for music. Our overall experience was excellent and we wholeheartedly recommend

Had a fantastic stay at this Middlebury apartment! It was clean and perfectly located near town and campus. The space was well-designed with great natural light. The neighborhood was peaceful, and Theresa was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient place in Middlebury!

Great place with beautiful surroundings! Very close to the lake and town (which had some very good restaurants). The house was perfect for us and the bed was very, very comfortable! Location was also within an hour of some great places in the Adirondacks. Host was very responsive to any issues/questions we had, and while they are close, they left us to do our own thing. Would definitely stay again if I have the chance!

Hiltraut was an excellent host. She was very dedicated to maintain communication with me and making sure that I was having a nice stay. The apartment is just as described in the listing and pictures; it even is bigger in person. She welcomed me and showed me around the place; and had breakfast foods and fruits for me in the kitchen. The place is really well cleaned and well kept. Really close to downtown Burlington and the highway.

This place is really special. The care and love spent in repairing and improving this ancient home into something beautiful is obvious. The brickwork, original wooden floors, wood beams, and beautiful view made this place so memorable for our stay. Shelly is clearly gifted with design, and everything from the layout to the tasteful choice of antiques felt unique, integrated, cozy, and romantic. The renovation itself was expertly executed, and I spent at least an hour enjoying the handiwork as much as the creative design itself. And I haven’t even mentioned the practical benefits of quality soaps, essentials foods, thoughtful appliances, and special lighting choices with no expense spared. I would highly recommend staying here! Not only is it convenient to the Northeast Kingdom, but it also captures a lovely vibe that one so rarely finds when traveling!

Words cannot describe what an amazing experience we had at the Yellow Farmhouse B&B. Leanne and David are the ultimate hosts. From start to finish everything exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and given a tour of the property. The space was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Our bedroom and bathroom were not only spotless and gorgeous, but very comfortable. The location was perfect and our hosts went out of their way to give us recommendations and directions for nearby exploring and dining. We were fortunate enough to experience the fall colors and enjoyed exploring Stowe, Queechy and North Hero. Our 2 breakfasts were among the best we have ever had, Leanne and David go above and beyond with delicious food that is presented in a very special manner. Overall, our experience was nothing short of incredible. We cannot recommend this property highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay-we will definitely be back!

I will look up Julia when I return in the fall. She and her place more than met my expectations! The room was comfortable and quiet, the bathroom clean, private and well- appointed. I liked how close it was to highway 7, and to a beautiful drive up to Ripton and the Green Mountains, with easy pulloffs along the way. Julie was available, helpful and friendly.

Lara was kind, clear, and specific in her communication. Her place was easy to navigate to; the home and our suite were squeaky clean and felt warm and welcoming. We deeply appreciated Lara’s recommendations for ways to explore and get to know Charlotte and Shelburne. We had a great time overall and are certainly looking forward to returning. This was my 4th time staying at Richard's place. He is a wonderful, friendly host. He has a well-stocked kitchen with all the cooking utensils one could possibly need, which I truly appreciate. Beautiful wooded location on a rural mountain road. I hope that I will have the chance to stay at Richard's place and ski Stowe many more times in the future!

Anne-Marie‘s attention to detail to my preferences were recognized quickly. Anne-Marie adds her personal loving touch of flowers and plants throughout the grounds of her home. Whether having breakfast with Anne- Marie personally, or her leaving a lovely spread of breakfast goodies, the attention to detail and choices are at the highest level. Comfy stay in an amazing house with built with hard work and love. Lovely gardens and surroundings. Felt at home very quickly. Lyndall was friendly and very helpful.

Juliet and her two adorable pups were wonderful hosts. Our outdoor plans were rained out but we had an amazing time relaxing in her beautiful property. The views were great from both indoors and outdoors. In between rain showers, we were able to paddle around the small pond on her property. We spent time lounging in Juliet’s comfy porch. The inside of Juliet’s home was full of character and her beautiful artwork. The bedrooms were absolutely gorgeous and comfortable. The breakfast Juliet prepared was great. Juliet was able to make some excellent recommendations on some quick walks (that worked in the rain) to waterfalls locally. She and her pups were friendly and welcoming. Super fun experience—would definitely return.
