Ho soggiornato nell'appartamento di Carlos a L'Avana e l'ho trovato molto accogliente, situato in una zona deliziosa della città, perfetta per immergersi nell’atmosfera locale. Pur non essendo una struttura di recentissima costruzione, è comunque ben funzionante e dotata di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno piacevole. Consigliato a chi cerca un'esperienza autentica e confortevole.

My friends and I (6 people) felt safe and secure at Tania's house for two weeks. The house staff was polite and always available to help us and kept our stay comfortable. We are grateful for the opportunity to check in early in the morning upon arrival. A pleasant bonus was the presence of WiFi, which nevertheless can work unstable depending on the day of the week and time of day, which is a peculiarity of the work of the Cuban telecom operator. It is impossible not to mention the presence of a large terrace on the roof of the house, where in the evenings you can discuss with friends plans for the coming days of the trip and drink a couple of cocktails.

Nothing in cojimar compares to the view. indeed a coastal paradise. Looking at the torreón imagine is 1640 and spanish soldiers with muskets standing guard😂🤌🏼

Amazing appartement! Calm place and the terrasse is great. I have nothing negative to say about this place. If you want to have a quiet and private place, this is certainly a good choice. 15 minutes away from the Capitol by walk! Every question I had was proactively answered!

My stay at Zunilda’s was great. I had nothing to complain about. The loft is beautiful! Just like the pictures. I love the views of Havana and how the terrace can be wide open. I loved that I had the option of fresh air or air conditioning. The restaurants I wanted to visit were not far away. And old Havana was about 8 mins away via taxi. She made my welcome so easy with accommodating a taxi for my arrival. Zunilda also provides a phone. Which was a life savor for my boyfriend and I. Zunilda’s sister, Malaena was amazing as well; she communicated with us, gave us pointers for food and helped us with exchanging money. She also accommodated for our taxi to leave. The two things I was worried about in Cuba was having a cell phone and exchanging money, and Zunilda and Malaena provided that for us, making that worry go away. Thank you so much for having us and we shall return.

An authentic Cuban finca all for yourself, with a spacious clean and neat house and a huge garden with fruit trees. My partner and I felt at home here, and always so well taken care of by the utterly and genuinely friendly hosts. We missed these people and the place as soon as we left. We enjoyed daily short strolls to the nearby village Barreras (for buying produce etc), and the around 45 min walk to the most gorgeous beach nearby. One can also take taxi to the beach, and to the bigger and busier beach-town Guanabo. It may be smart to bring your own mosquito net/tent, but only for the twilight and early mornings, even though we rarely got bitten. The kitchen is spaceous and has all the basics. I can warmly recommend it, with its local Cuban charm and the most helpful and exellent hosts. This place is a gem!

Amelia y Alfonso son encantadores. Ella es un torbellino de vitalidad. La casa estaba muy limpia y era cómoda y agradable. Muy moderna en su interior y con aire acondicionado y ventiladores para no pasar calor. Amelia nos recomendó lugares para ir a comer por la zona y nos explicó dónde se encontraba la zona WiFi, muy cerca de la casa. La estación central está también muy cerca y también la plaza de la Revolución. Se adaptaron a nuestros horarios sin problema y nos aconsejaron sobre el barrio y a la hora de coger el Viazul que teníamos previsto para el día siguiente.

Muy buen recibimiento en el alojamiento, muy servicial, limpio todo, lindo y ordenado, me viera gustado pasar más tiempo porque la verdad muy acogedor. Muy recomendable

We had an incredible stay at Issy’s place in Old Havana! From the moment we booked, she was so responsive and helped us plan our entire trip, making everything seamless. She even provided us with a local cell phone, which was a huge help while navigating Cuba. Issy went above and beyond in every way—she was fantastic with our kids, making them feel right at home, and her breakfasts were absolutely amazing. Every morning was a treat with fresh, delicious food to start the day. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, attentive host who truly cares about her guests, Issy is the one! We can’t recommend her place enough and would absolutely stay here again.

Due to heavy thunderstorms the WiFi went down on the first night, but you can’t control nature. I thought it was a blessing in disguise. We managed to enjoy the house so much more and each other’s company. The staff was amazing. The staff had coffee ready for us in the am before we could even request it. The pool is a very nice touch. The security guard at night helps give no second thoughts, even tho Havana is a very safe city. Would certainly go back. Enjoyed our entire stay!

Maravillosa estancia en una casa preciosa de arquitectura americana estilo años 50, renovada y bien mantenida, con todas las comodidades necesarias para hacer nuestra estancia agradable. El jardín es una belleza, y la terraza que da al mismo es perfecta para relajarse por la mañana tomando un café. Pequeña piscina privada con una iluminación nocturna muy bonita. Internet disponible desde 2 puntos WiFi que abarcan la casa completa. Desayunos totalmente recomendados, no sólo por la cantidad y la calidad, que es excepcional, sino también porque son preparados por Ana Ibis y Teresa con todo el cariño del mundo, cosa que como familia agradecimos mucho. Los dueños de la casa siempre disponibles para resolver cualquier mínimo problema que pudiera surgir durante la estancia. En general, incluso con las altas expectativas que ya teníamos por los comentarios, la experiencia ha sido inmejorable, y si volvemos a La Habana sin duda nos quedaremos aquí de nuevo. ¡Muchas gracias por todo!

Very nice and service minded host. The house was according to the pictures. Big and nice Important to note that the location is not as it was indicated on the map in Airbnb where it seems like it very close to the old town. I think the address is correct in the ad, but it appears wrongly in the map on Airbnb

La casa es espectacular, es mejor en persona que en la fotos. Amplia, espaciosa y además muy privada. La piscina es sin dudas lo mejor, todos la disfrutamos mucho. Fuimos a pasar unos días con la familia y todos quedamos encantados. Gracias Jaquelin, Laura y Mariano, siempre atentos para los que nos hiciera falta. La recomiendo 100%. Volveremos

El lugar es hermoso, tal como se ve en las fotos, o mejor aun! Está a una distancia perfecta de la playa; lo suficientemente alejado como para ser un lugar super tranquilo, y lo suficientemente cerca como para ir caminando a la playa (15 minutos o menos). El lugar es tan lindo y cómodo que hasta se hace difícil querer salir de allí para irse a la playa! :-) El personal no puede ser más amable! Destaco a Made, una genia, que me ayudó en todo momento y se preocupó para que tenga todo lo que necesitaba y más. El único punto quizás algo débil es que no hay muchos restaurantes por la zona, salvo por unos ranchones en la playa que cierran luego de las 6pm, y unos puestos de pollo asado también en la playa que quedan hasta las 8pm o 9pm, aprox. Pero de todas maneras en la casa ofrecen comida muy rica (aunque yo sólo probé los sandwiches de pollo, que estaban muy bien por el precio!). En resumen, si estás buscando relajarte en un lugar muy lindo y tener una playa cerca, este es tu lugar!

We stayed one night at Eliza’s casa particular with her parents Eduardo & Martha in Cojímar before heading to Playa Larga — our only wish is that we were able to stay longer in Cojímar to enjoy their beautiful casa & gracious hospitality. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, and had everything that we needed, and very well located near Cojímar’s Malecón and the Hemingway statue, etc., as well as within a short walk to wonderful restaurants such as Ajiacar. This was our first time in Cojímar, and our hosts were a wonderful source of knowledge about this interesting, off-the-beaten path area. We had the opportunity to chat with Eduardo at length — he is honestly one of the most interesting people we met throughout more than six weeks in Cuba on this trip. Eduardo’s his deep knowledge of the Cojímar community, including countless legends and tales, truly made our brief stay even more enjoyable. We recommend staying with Eliza’s parents Eduardo & Martha’s apartment in Cojímar!

Casa Itaya fue nuestro hogar durante una semana, está ubicada en un lugar lejos del ruido del centro. La vista al mar nos proporcionó la tranquilidad que estábamos buscando y de noche el sonido de las olas fue el arrullo perfecto para un buen descanso, los amaneceres y los atardeceres son increíbles. Amarilys es una excelente anfitriona siempre presta a responder y colaborar y es cálida como su tierra. En la casa del frente, el señor Jorge nos prestó el servicio de transporte a todos los lugares que quisimos ir a muy buen precio, él y su familia nos acogieron como todo extranjero desea que lo acojan en tierras desconocidas. Alojarse en Cojímar fue una buena mezcla porque íbamos a La Habana a conocer, vivir la vida social y volvíamos a realmente descansar en casa. Muy recomendado el espacio y muy recomendado visitar Cuba, abrazar a nuestros hermanos caribeños, vivir su alegría, su risa, su salsa. Gracias desde Colombia!

Want to thank the hosts and staffs Tami, Tay, Maria and Betico for all the help and making us feel so comfortable and welcoming. Tay for helping with money exchange, WiFi, recommendations for places to eat, places to visit and all the informations. Most importantly taxi to and from airport. Maria for shopping and making us breakfast days we needed and asked for. Betico for bringing our heavy luggages up to our apt at arrival and down when we left. Thank you also to the staffs family Sonia, Junior and Magdolis, feasting, eating, drinking and dancing with us one night as we hosted lunch/dinner and them cleaning up the house after. It was so great meeting you all, getting to know you and feel like La Familia during our stay. Everyone in the neighborhood we’ve met, talk to too, we hope you use and enjoy the gifts, meals, spices, medicines and more. Maravilhoso! Apartamento moderno, aconchegante, tudo limpo e gostoso, ar condicionado funcionando muito bem, cozinha bem equipada. Localização otima, Vedado é um bairro calmo, local, delicioso pra se hospedar e ver uma parte melhor de havana. O apto fica ao lado da delegacia entao é muito seguro. 15 minutos andando concentra muitos bons restaurantes; sorveterias. E os hosts foram incriveis, estavam nos esperando pro check in, indicaram restaurantes, ofereceram servicos, e tudo que precisamos, em poucos minutos eles ja chegavam no apartamento. Tambem deixaram 20 cocas, cervejas, aguas e sucos na geladeira pra comprarmos se quisessemos Foi tudo perfeito, valeu muito a pena!

Normally i prefer hotels instead of Airbnb accommodations, however due to the purpose of our trip hotel would have been too far out of our reach in terms of locations. After, extensive research on Airbnb and days in between of thinking things through i was able to conclude a decision, a decision that brought me great satisfaction. Everything was precisely as describe on the website. The apartment was in a peaceful neighborhood, the interior was tasteful, with all of the modern amenities, the elevator was a plus very convenient, the wireless internet connection in the apartment remained on without disruption, providing a reliable high performance broad band service. Breakfast was quite the affair, with fresh mango juices, Cuban coffee, fresh toast, waffle pancakes, omelet with bacons all provided by Aileen mom. Alieen was extremely attentive, insightful, and understanding. Alieen mother is such a beautiful soul, she treated me like a daughter, i love her. I will stay there again.
