Guests have access to Mdumbi beach which is a 3 minute walk down the hill. Guests have access to activities offered by the backpackers such as massages, cultural tours, cave hikes and kayaks on the beautiful mdumbi river as well as a restaurant and coffee shop on site. Such a beautiful place, walking distance from the beach. Everyone was friendly. Relatively close drive to hole in the wall.

We had a short but great time here. The view is absolutely amazing. Watched the most beautiful sunrise over the ocean from our room. Judy‘s team is very friendly and helpful.

If you love the outdoors and want to visit a place still untouched by the commercialisation that is happening everywhere else go to Mdumbi beach. What to expect? The hosts Lu and Otto are rock stars, more than adequate backpackers accommodations, a beautiful beach and amazing pools in the river for swimming. The road from Nqeleni has amazing views but is not for those with gravel issues so be prepared for that. Don't expect? Excess and opulence, it's not necessary and there is no place for it. I will definitely be going back...

I can wholeheartedly give the Coram Deo Airbnb a 5 star rating. The view from the room over the bay is breathtaking and the food is great. This place is run with a lot of care and love. If youre looking for a place to relax, hike, surf, then this is your perfect match ;) Im very glad we spontaneously decided to drive by Coffee Bay. Thank you very much!

The most amazing little hidden gem in Coffee Bay. Great staff and the most delicious food from the kitchen. We loved our stay and will definitely visit again!

The Loft was a really really nice place to sleep, chill and have a great time in coffee bay. We felt almost like home. Melanie gave us some good tips and it was always easy to reach out and communicate.
