Jason was extremely helpful in our check-in and check-out process. The house is a little hard to find, especially at night. The pond itself wasn’t the best for water sport activities with lots of bugs, plant, and animal life, but great for fishing and walking around the area was super peaceful and private and nice! The house was wonderful!! The hot tub was great. So much space and extremely clean; it had everything we needed! Overall we had a great experience as Jason’s house!

The nearby waterfall we went to was beautiful and can not wait to come back to see more of the local nature. The host was extremely helpful with suggestion of sites and very responsive to questions. The home was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The small details made the difference compared to other properties. For example, the towels were thick and soft. The kitchen had measuring cups. The re were small battery powered lanterns that were great at night. The path to the fire pit was lined with solar powered lights. All the small details matched the description of luxurious. We loved watching the wind on the water, turtles sunning themselves, jumping fish, frog songs and blue heron tiptoeing through the water.

This was exactly what we were looking for-a clean, comfortable place with a beautiful view and mountain feel on our way to Savannah to visit family. The weather was perfect for one of the days, and the other day it was rainy and foggy, but we spent that day going to Ruby Falls. It cleared up in the afternoon. We spent evenings around the fire pit in which wood was provided and we brought our own outdoor chairs that were more comfortable than the benches provided. We also grilled out using the grill on the property, and there were plenty of silverware, dishes, glasses, pots and pans etc. Everything was just as pictured. All in all, a wonderful getaway. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to Fred, our host.

Loved this place I definitely recommend! It was private but also had other homes nearby so you weren’t completely alone in the woods haha. They recommended amazing hiking spots that my husband and I went to see and it was so fun. We’re from Illinois so it’s mostly corn fields so hiking through mountains and seeing the waterfalls was just an amazing experience. Overall this home was lovely and our hosts were friendly/great people. Must see.

Timberroot was a peaceful hidden gem in chattanooga.

We loved our stay here! Walked in to a clean and comfortable environment with an amazing view. Conveniently located to Cloudland Canyon and Lula Lake Land Trust. Plenty of space for my dog as well. Really enjoyed having a cup of coffee on the deck watching the fog. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

What a magical space Courtney and Adam have created! We absolutely loved our stay and cannot wait to return to check out some of the other cabins. 10/10!

It was a beautiful cabin that was conveniently located to three lakes that we fished. Everything we needed was located inside the cabin and we had complete privacy outside.M there was also an overhang to completely park and cover my boat I would stay there again

This was a great experience for me, my wife and my children. The views are amazing. I wish I could give more than a five star review. Everything was listed as on Airbnb. Our host was very nice and responsive. We enjoyed the porch cooking out and laying in the whirlpool bathtub …We definitely would love to come back. Thank you so much for hosting us. Good communication and perfect locations for a bachelor party. Just good, clean fun, fishing, kayaking and having a space to cook and hang.

This cabin was so peaceful and a wonderful retreat for my family. We came to the area to see Rock City and Ruby Falls. The cabin is set back off a quiet road and is surrounded by trees and nature. It was so peaceful to sit out on the porch and read with no distractions. There are plenty of beds and seating areas. The bathrooms were very clean as was the rest of the house. If you’re looking for a cabin that helps you relax, you found it.

Great place to stay for the price! Good location, kitchen has everything you need, beds are in good condition. The hill down to the slip is pretty steep, but after cruising the lake, that is par for the course! Their slip is in good shape and a great place to hang out! I didnt get a chance to fish down there, but I assure you it looks like a great hole. Andy did a great job accommodating for us, and was quick to communicate!

This cabin is an absolutely wonderful getaway! We have been here multiple times and it consistently beats our experiences at other cabins. The area is beautiful and the cabin is an amazing way to enjoy it and disconnect from the usual busyness of life. Between spending time by the lakeside or a fire, you don’t ever really feel the need to do anything but relax. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfectly kept - very clean, not cluttered, and quite spacious! Everything was labelled so well, we didn't have to waste any time figuring things out. The screened in porch was lovely on the nice crisp morning we were there. The beds were comfortable. Very close to Fiery Gizzard trail! I definitely recommend this.

My wife and stayed here with our two young children for the weekend. The property is secluded and relaxing but close to everything that the area has to offer from hiking to restaurants in Monteagle or Sewanee. The house was very clean and well-equipped. The weather wasn’t great the weekend we were there so we didn’t get to take full advantage of the property as there is great outdoor seating and a fire pit. Overall it was a great stay.

Robert and Ruth are extremely friendly and wonderful hosts. Communication was fantastic and they were extremely helpful and accommodating. It was very peaceful and relaxing and short driving distances to so many outdoor attractions. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Fiancé an I wanted a private get away, had eveything we needed, amazing view, nice to wake up to the birds chirping.

The treehouse was a great place for all ages they had a playpen I was able to use for my 5 month old, had toys and books that my 2 year old had a blast with and my teens enjoyed the hot tub… the only thing is I wish there was a way to block the stairs at night and some nightlights I know there was light switches for them but they didn’t do anything… we will definitely be back again

If you’re looking at this trying to decide if you should book this cabin…go ahead and book it! This was a magical place to stay that had the perfect balance of rustic and comfort. The cabin is beautiful, filled with thoughtful touches from the hosts, and it was such a perfect home base while I was visiting Chattanooga. One thing to note is that there is not a mounted, just a handle as far as I could tell. The tub is INCREDIBLE and I didn’t find myself missing the more traditional shower set up at all. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, and I hope to come back and stay someday.
