Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Clinton County

This place is just WOW! If you are lucky enough to stay here you will love every minute! Jen and her husband are perfect hosts. The home was spotless and has every you would need. The space is well equipped and very comfortable and the setting is fabulous. To wake up every morning and look out onto Lake Champlain was wonderful. The host, location and home speak volumes when we say we'd love to return as soon as we can.

This exceptional lake house provided the most welcoming space we could have asked for to celebrate our family and to spend time together. From heated floors on the cool nights to the beautiful piano to the awesome "grown-up-sized" Jenga, we filled our days with settling in together and simply enjoying! We are so grateful for Dina to sharing this wonderful home with us!!

This is probably one of the best homes we have stayed at in Airbnb. The pictures do not capture just how wonderful this home and the land it is on. The home is decorated really nicely, very colorful, with lots of nice stain glass. The entire home is very comfortable, including the beds and pillows, and there are many places to sit and relax. There are a lot of kitchen amenities and the home is uncluttered and spotlessly clean. The yard is so nice to spend time in and the hot tub is great. There aren't any pics of it but it is the kind with jets and big enough for 2 adults. My only regret is not staying longer!

We enjoyed our stay at Kathleen’s house very much. There were 6 of us; my family and my brother’s. The house was very cozy with an open kitchen and living room space with high ceilings. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and many things we didn’t expect like breakfast foods, coffee, etc. The two bathrooms were both spotless and had lots of nice soft towels. The outdoor furniture was very nice and new and the property is private and nicely maintained. A few of us also enjoyed using the kayaks on the lake directly across the street. We were attending a family reunion at a house on the same street so the location was extremely convenient. We liked this house so much we would like to book again for our future reunions.

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

Overall great and peaceful stay. Pretty close to white face and lake placid. Perfect space for 2-3 people. Owner is responsive and friendly. One thing to note is that the owner does not mention in the listing that he lives in the same house with you. So if you’re looking for complete privacy then this might not be the best option for you. Other than that, no complaints at all and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in that area!

We had a great stay at Robin’s cabin right on Auger Lake for my birthday. The cabin was very clean and cozy, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was great especially since we had unexpectedly cold weather for June. The area was very quiet and peaceful, but still close to a lot of cool places. Definitely will be coming back!

The cabin was awesome. Very clean and most importantly modern, meaning updated appliances and bathrooms. The hot water was great with a strong current. The grounds are beautiful, perfect for a dog walk.

I would stay here again. The house was clean. I liked the porch. Kitchen was nice.

This is a really beautiful location. The pictures are accurate but they don't quite capture the scale of the bay, lake, and peninsula. You're perched up on a hill or cliff and the birds-eye perspective makes for a great view. The owners are welcoming but respect your privacy. Ausable Chasm is definitely worth the visit. It takes several hours to explore the trails so keep in mind to bring some water. I found Keeseville the perfect place for a peaceful getaway, away from all the traffic and nonsense associated with our daily lives. There are a couple of good spots to eat in town and everything is about 10 minutes from the cabin. Lake Placid is about 45 minutes way if you're looking for other things to do. The drive up Whiteface Mountain is breathtaking and High Falls Gorge is nice, but the gorge pales in comparison to Ausable Chasm.

We had an amazing stay! Everything was completely spotless, the appliances were top of the line, and the location was private and peaceful. Everything about the house was high quality and the hot tub was an added bonus! We would definitely stay here again.

We had a visual. visit in the area and Shane's place was just what we needed to recharge and relax . The cabin is well equipped and cozy. Comfy beds too!

Michael’s place is absolutely gorgeous. Although the weather wasn’t on our side, we still felt very cozy and at home. When we got a little break in the weather we went to some nearby hikes and views with our dog who loved every bit of it. Would highly recommend a stay here.
