Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Clarke County

Michele was a very courteous and responsive host. The house is charming with a great yard and nice street for a dog to walk. The house has an attached bedroom up 5 stairs with a queen bed that is best for anyone with trouble climbing the very old, narrow steep staircase but does require a short walk outside to get into main house for the bathroom. The master bedroom upstairs is very comfortable but does have a bedroom you walk thru with a trundle and twin bed. We used the outside stairs to bypass walking thru the adjoining bedroom when we got up. There are many doorways that are just barely 6 ft (lots of ducking), both bathroom showers are also only 6 ft tall which means the shower head is lower. One enters the dining room where we spent most of our time with a puzzle, then you walk through the kitchen which is also about 6 ft tall to enter the 3 living rooms and staircase for bedrooms. House has all amenities with puzzles, cards, books, first aid. Great local recommendations!

The only down side was could have used mores tvs and maybe a full length mirror! Other than that peaceful and super clean smelled amazing when we walked in

We stayed at Fiona's amazing lodge in Bluemont for a night to celebrate my brother's bachelor party and it was the perfect setting. Fiona was very accommodating with check-in and check-out times. Surrounded by beautiful woodlands, the deck is perfect for talking about seeing the sunset. The inside was spotless and exactly like the pictures. All the amenities we needed were provided in the kitchen and bathrooms and made for the perfect environment for the night. We didn't get to do the hike I was thinking about, but the area has some really great trails connected to the Appalachian Trail and some really cool breweries 5 to 20 minutes away. I was a little worried about the TV not being big enough for a shared game night (the one on the bottom floor) but it ended up being a great size for sharing photos and memories. There was a pool that I didn't realize was on the property but it was closed up, would love to come back and try out that sometime!

This place was incredible. Had worried about the weather holding up but it held up the entire weekend which lead to an amazing time. So much space for the dogs to run and for us to relax. Living room is super cozy and being walking distance to the river was very nice. Bring bug spray if you’re an outdoors person but other then that, 10 out of 10 place to visit. Also recommend Lowrys Crab Shack and Cordial Coffee Co as places to visit while in the area.

We loved Anna’s place! It is a stunning home with beautiful surroundings. Anna was completely welcoming and accommodating…even allowing an early check as we got there faster than we expected. Although we were aware ahead of time of the lack of window coverings it did take some time to get used to…but the views are stunning as promised! We had a lovely weekend and will definitely come back again!

It was such a private and cozy place to escape the city and be able to relax and a change to the pace. This is definitely a must to enjoy a getaway and disconnect from the city!

this apt is one of the nicest Airbnb's I've ever seen, in a nice quiet neighborhood in Martinsburg. Everything you need is nearby and the place is super comfortable and well designed.

Had another wonderful stay. We love hiking & music sessions at The Barn. Everything we needed was provided. We had a great time on our second visit. Will plan on returning. Jane & Jack

Judy is a great host. The accommodations are wonderful, and you feel right at home. The pool is very refreshing, and the backyard is so relaxing. Highly recommend staying here.

Our second stay here. Just as good as the first. We met our family most every day (15 minutes away) and got to participate in their many activities, and yet have a quiet, clean, large space to retreat to. They were so flexible that we felt like family !

The place was charming, well stocked and very comfortable. The communication was great and we would definitely rent again.

Ashley, Neil and Jane were responsive, helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and well-cared for during our three weeks in their rental. The unit is in a beautiful and peaceful location along the Potomac River and was spotlessly clean and well appointed and supplied. As other reviewers have noted, the beds were very comfortable. We would stay there again and highly recommend the unit to others.

The room was just as pictured and described. It was easy to find. The directions were clear. The room had a guest binder that made it easy to find a restaurant and I even enjoyed reading through the town history book. When we drove around town I pointed out buildings I had just learned about! There are motion activated lights in the hallways that I thought were a great touch! I loved the designated parking in the back.

This apartment was perfect for us! It had everything we needed and was very clean. We were visiting Harpers Ferry for the day and it was in a great location for us to be able to do that. We will definitely stay here again!
