Luxurious aptartment with all of the normal services, very comfortable & clean, hardwood floors,includes slate pool table, high speed wifi ,mini gym, large infra red sauna ,free use of 2 adult bicycles and kayak! Beautiful views from balcony (incl croagh patrick!),only 8 mins walk to town centre where there is usually something to do, 10 mins drive to Knock shrine, 20 mins to knock west airport, 30 to Westport/croagh patrick, 45 to Galway city. Enjoyable during summer days & long winter nights

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

Cosy Cottage, has heart of gold.

In the year 0f 1898, this lovely cottage was built to be the Teachers residence to the local School. Throughout the years it has been a very happy home to all who lived here. It is set in large gardens . Perfectly peaceful, with access to quiet walks. Sitting out listening to the resident owl, or the early morning bird song, magic. We are a few miles from the beautiful Lough Carra, and within a half hour of Cong, Lough Mask , Lough Corrib, the gateway to Connemara. Come enjoy the peace.
