Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Claremont

We visited Claremont with several classmates for a reunion at the Claremont Colleges. The location was great for easy access to the colleges (short walk) and the Claremont village which had excellent restaurants and cute shops. The house was spacious- everyone had their own rooms and there was lots of space to spread out and relax. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the squirrels and hearing the birds.

Nice place, worked out well for our time in town, walking distance to restaurants, quiet neighborhoods to walk through, was nice to have a yard for our dog, had all necessities, and the kids enjoyed their beds. Thank you for allowing us the stay. For those whom these things may matter to: The King bed was quite firm, bathroom was a super tight space, and house was on a slightly busy street.

Had a very good couple days at the Back Nest with my partner and 2 golden retriever. The place was very clean and comfortable. Good location with short commutes to many activities, food and entertainment. Manuel was a great host, allowed early check in and was very responsive in communication. Biggest drawback was having to enter through the alley, through a tight entrance. Made it work with my jeep, but my partner didn't feel safe coming/going alone. The backyard was nice to have access too, but it needs alot of maintenance due to rough overgrowth of spikey plants. Definitely recommend for single/coupled occupants.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches throughout the space. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out, making the entire process seamless. Wesley also shared fantastic local recommendations, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. The house itself was beautifully decorated , with a modern yet cozy vibe. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen, high-quality toiletries, and fast Wi-Fi. The location was perfect, close to everything you may need. Great place to stay with easy access to all that the Claremont area has to offer

A true sanctuary for the soul. This house in Idyllwild is everything I didn’t know I needed—and more. Just one hour away from the city, it felt like stepping into a different world. The moment we arrived, I could feel my nervous system start to unwind. Between the river flowing right through the backyard, the private sauna and Jacuzzi, and the peaceful stillness of the forest, it was the perfect space to reconnect with my body, mind, and spirit. Every detail in the home was curated with intention and care. If you’re someone who values health, vitality, and deep rest—this place has everything: nature, healing, beauty, and tranquility. It’s also an amazing space for families—my little one thrived playing in nature and we were all able to slow down and reset together. The host was warm, responsive, and made us feel completely at home. I left feeling nourished and restored, and I can’t wait to return. This place is a gem and has become my go-to getaway for peace, presence, and health.

This is a great space for two people. Thoughtful amenities and enough space to spread out and not be crowded. The location is on the edge of industrial and residential making it actually very quiet at night. There is a train nearby but the sound is muffled and not very intrusive. I'd recommend this for a nice home base for Inland Empire exploration

this is our third time staying at elizabeth’s place and we’ll definitely be back a fourth time! the airbnb itself is lovely, absolutely a great place to rest and relax. the kitchen and bathroom are fully stocked-(which is completely unnecessary but very appreciated) and elizabeth herself is a delight. the airbnb is a very short walk from downtown, and the walk is gorgeous. can’t recommend this spot highly enough.

Great stay at Maria’s place! It’s a sunny, comfy apartment with ocean breezes. I loved that the bedroom curtains allowed for a dark vibe for sleeping in but also the apartment in general had lots of light and fresh air. Lots to walk to including restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and the beach. And super convenient to a grocery store. Would love to stay here again!

Darcy's place was just as described and Darcy was a wonderful host. From providing local recommendations to having ample "spare supplies" in the unit, he went that extra mile to make our stay a pleasant one. We'd definitely look at booking again when next we're in the LA area.

The place was exactly as described and we felt incredibly comfortable. They had a cute set up and the pool was clean. The host were lovely and efficient. I truly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back.

Selina was a very responsive host with a nice little place. Very clean and no frills. Bonus points for the gated private parking spot. If you are looking for a place to stay, with all the essentials and at a fair price, I would highly recommend.

Absolutely thrilled about our stay here. It’s a beautiful condo with the best LA decor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Also- Having a WORKING washing machine in an Airbnb was a game changer! The rooftop views- wow!! How cool to have a pool and hot tub on the roof! There is also no reason to feel unsafe at this location (I saw other reviews with some worries). The security at the front desk was AMAZING. They will not let anyone in that is not supposed to be in the building. They eventually know you by name and greet you. They walked me outside to show me exactly how to get to the convenient parking garage provided by the host. (The parking garage is just as secure!) I could go on and on about our experience- but it will only allow me to write so much! Thank you so much Brandon! We will be back! If you want to stay downtown LA- stay here.

Nice place. Quiet. I had no issues getting in. The bathroom was clean. Kitchen was clean. They had a steamer for my clothes which was nice as well.

Pari’s place is bigger than it appears in the photos- really nice space. Modern and comfortable, fully outfitted kitchen, and plenty of towels/amenities. Contrary to other reviewers, I didn’t find the parking to be tough. I rented an SUV and just backed into the space without a problem - I can see how it would be tough for someone if they headed in- just do a three point turn up front and you’ll be fine :) One last comment- the location can’t be beat! Walking distance to so much (including one of my favorite restaurants, Green Street). And less than 15 minutes to Occidental College, where I was attending events. Great stay. Thanks Pari!

Booked for the rooftop pool view and it did not disappoint. The parking spot was a nice bonus. The unit itself was nice. Comfy bed, big tv, very clean. As others mentioned, it’s very bright; bring an eye mask if you don’t want to be up with the sunrise.

We really enjoyed staying here! The waterfalls and garden area that the balcony overlooks were a beautiful surprise. The complex was quiet and Jeffrey checked in each night we stayed to ensure everything was meeting our expectations!

Amazing place, with a beautiful kitchen! The building itself was very quiet. Most everything was walkable, or at least a very short uber ride away! Any questions we had we got a response very quickly. A perfect stay for the weekend!
