It felt like home when we returned after 6 six years. The place of Laurence & Jorge is in line with the pictures and the view is amazing. The house has everything you need, we really loved the mattresses and the pillows. The house is surrounded by a large garden, and we liked the privacy and the fruit trees in the garden. Getting into the house is easy and communication is perfect. We will definitely return again! We recommend to do some groceries before you arrive, the nearest supermarket is a 15 min drive away. Nuestra estancia fue de una semana y pudimos disfrutar de mucha calma, buenos paisajes y senderos de campo a 2 minutos de la casa. Soledad te envía mucha información de rutas, pueblos y restaurantes y está pendiente 24/7. Nunca tardó más de unos minutos en contestar cualquier mensaje que le mandé durante mi estancia. Se terminó nuestra bombona de butano y en 20 minutos la tuvimos cambiada. El lugar está muy cuidado y las instalaciones son de buena calidad. Incluso tienen el detalle de tener cosas como sal y pimienta, velas aromáticas o tuppers a tu disposición. Todo lo necesario para vivir con lo esencial unos días. Pequeño tip para futuros clientes: si te quedas más de 2 o 3 días recomiendo dejar a secar las toallas de la ducha fuera del baño, ya que es una habitación muy húmeda y cogerán un poco de olor a humedad. En general ha sido una estancia muy tranquila y relajante, un buen cambio de la vida en ciudad.

We had an amazing time at Fernando’s place! The scenery is beautiful and the house was perfect for the relaxing trip we were hoping for! The locals in Valhelhas are so friendly and fun to be around. Our stay in this small village was fantastic! We can only recommend Fernando’s place!

¡Una experiencia inmejorable! La casa de Ainhoa ha superado nuestras expectativas. Las vistas son espectaculares, especialmente al atardecer, que pudimos disfrutar de preciosas puestas de sol a través de los enormes ventanales del salón. El entorno es muy tranquilo y la ubicación es perfecta para desconectar y relajarse, pero a la vez está cerca de todo lo necesario. La calefacción funcionó de maravilla, lo que hizo que nuestra estancia fuera muy cómoda incluso en los primeros dias, que fueron más frescos. Pero, sin duda, lo mejor fue la comunicación con Ainhoa. Desde el primer momento fue muy amable, atenta y siempre dispuesta a ayudarnos con cualquier duda o recomendación. ¡Repetiremos seguro!

We loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed more than one night. The view from the patio areas is beautiful and the house is charming. The house itself isn't fancy but it's a great price and great location. We would have loved to utilize the pool more but it was not very sunny the day we were there.

What an incredible place! This would have to be one of the best Airbnb I have stay at! It was absolutely stunning and had everything we needed. Daniela was the most incredible host. Not only did she give us incredible suggestions, she helped book a few things for us. She went out of her way constantly to make sure we were able to enjoy the area. She made our experience in the Duo Valley incredible and very memorable.

Pasamos unos días increíbles en la casa rural. Es el lugar ideal para disfrutar con pareja, amigos y familia. La casa es amplia, cómoda y decorada con mucho encanto, además de estar muy bien equipada. El entorno es precioso, rodeado de naturaleza y perfecto para relajarse o hacer actividades al aire libre.

We had a great stay at Antionio's place. Very relaxing setting on the edge of the village. So nice to be able to let our dog run freely in a fenced compound with beautiful fruit trees. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

Спасибо это пребывание было прекрасным, мы добирались на своей машине к жилью в сопровождении Руи и Изабеллы, только потому что наша машина 4WD, дом просто прекрасен, рядом нет никого и очень тихо. Так же есть две ванны которые нужно натопить и наслаждаться, это очень круто и расслабляюще! Дом в живую намного уютнее и красивее, чем на фотографиях, это наслаждение. Особенно было приятно то что когда я получила ожог по собственной вине в ванной комнате в шкафу было средство от ожогов, это очень безопасный и уютный дом.

One of the highlights was dinner prepared by Jet and Ronald. I highly recommend this as part of the experience. We shared an amazing meal with other guests, and there was a lot of info from Ron about the local wines from the region. I missed out on Jet’s breakfast, but heard amazing things from the other guests in another studio at the property. Great place and great people.

geweldige locatie en een mooi huis, nog mooier dan op de foto's. alles was erg schoon en ze waren erg vriendelijk. Bij ontvangst stond een heerlijk hapje klaar, super lief. Onze dochter van 4 was niet weg te slaan uit het zwembad, ze vind het geweldig. En wat een uitzicht, dat is pas wakker worden. We komen zeker nog eens terug mochten we weer in de buurt zijn. bedankt

A mi pareja y a mi nos encanto este alojamiento cumplia con todo lo que cumplia, la casera muy amable y flexible lo unico que no nos gusto es que la cocina no marcara el alto y bajo de la cocina cuando vas a cocinar, de resto excelente muy intimo y acogedor

Todo genial. Concepción es encantadora y siempre estuvo atenta a cualquier cosa que necesitara. El apartamento es pequeñito pero más que suficiente para 1-2 personas, está muy bien cuidado y con una cocina muy bien equipada. El lugar y los alrededores son preciosos. Recomendado!

Prachtig uitzicht vanaf het dakterras en een lekkere ruimte met goede airco om tot rust te komen. Het dorpje is mooi en oud, leuk om doorheen te struinen, een goede locatie om te verblijven als je op doorreis bent. My two friends and I absolutely loved Joao's place! It is one of the most unique airbnbs we have ever stayed in, built on the side of a mountain with a fabulous view off the balcony. It was comfortable and quiet. The town of Monsanto is also incredibly beautiful and unique and everything is in walking distance. I would love to return to Monsanto and would definitely stay in Joao's place again.

Todo perfecto, la ubicación, la casa, la atención por el anfitrión, el mobiliario, la tranquilidad...... .Totalmente aconsejable. Nada que objetar.

Een week verbleven in de blokhut van Raquel in Monleras. in de middle of nowhere overvallen door een weldadige rust. mijn vriendin en ik hebben nog nooit zo weinig mensen gezien tijdens ons verblijf. Op de fiets genoten van de betoverende omgeving van het grensgebied tussen Spanje en Portugal. Raquel overlaadt je met alle info die maar beschikbaar is. Dagje Salamanca viel wat tegen. Overwoekerd met terrassen. Ondanks het tegenvallende weer een verbazingwekkende week gehad. Dat er anno 2025 nog dorpjes zijn waar je op de fiets een bezienswaardigheid bent. Ongelofelijk. Raquel is een hardwerkende host die je kan tegenkomen in het dorp maar ook in gesprek met de gasten of zelfs achter de bosmaaier. Respect voor haar. Wij wensen haar succes. Groet. Hennie en Thea.

We had a really lovely stay in this beautiful house. Estrella was a fantastic host. She was so kind and welcoming and did everything possible to help make our stay enjoyable. The house is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The gardens are lovely and the patio and seating area by the stream are so relaxing. The village is very pretty with some lovely bars and restaurants and the walk along the river by the Roman bridge is stunning. The natural environment and wildlife in the area is amazing. We could hear nightingales in the woods by the house and saw black redstart often around the stream and garden. I would highly recommend staying here and we hope to visit again. Really enjoyed our time at Gabriel's place. Tried to change our travel plans to stay a little longer in this beautiful area but unfortunately were unable to. Thank you for a wonderful memory of Portugal!
