The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Come and enjoy the Nature Coast right from the backyard.

Come enjoy our lakeside cottage and its fun relaxing vibe! This private home is fully fenced and features a private dock. We are pet friendly for well behaved four legged friends that enjoy traveling. We have a 14 ft canoe and 2 kayaks for you to enjoy. We do have a small gas motor you can rent for the canoe allowing you to truly explore the lakes. Bring your boat! We have a community boat ramp one street over. Only minutes to downtown Inverness! PET FEE $25 per pet paid directly to host.

Relax in a clean, welcoming, home that has been updated. There are 2 fishing poles available for your use. We make sure they are in working condition and well maintained. Shopping, restaurants, and entertainment is close by. Want a beach....35 minute ride to Fort Island Trail Beach and boat ramp. We do allow hypoallergenic small dogs (2 max), non-shedding, 25 lbs. or less, each w/ proof of shot records, please bring a kennel with you. There is a non refundable $25.00 per dog fee.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Walking distance to Chassahowitzka campgrounds, a bait shop, and a bar/restaurant. Fish off the private boat dock: covered parking, bonus lanai room. We have two fishing kayaks available for use. THE OWNER TAKES NO LIABILITY FOR THE USE OF KAYAKS. The Gulf of Mexico is just 14 miles to Crystal River which has a nice local beach. Scalloping and Manatee watching and much more to do in Citrus county. Orlando and Disney are just a little over an hours drive.

This charming house is located on nearly an acre of woodland. Fish from the dock of the screen room on the canal or kayak to the nearby lake. Relax in the private backyard Jacuzzi. Bike on the nearby Withlacoochee Trail. There are 2 bedrooms plus living room sleeper sofa, and a lanai with a day bed. Fully furnished. Orlando theme parks are 1 1/2 hour away, Busch Gardens 1 hour. Close to Weeki Wachee, Homosassa and Crystal River for manatee viewing or scallop season.
