"Quélébu Grange" cottage / retreat in Couserans

Beautiful gite/retreat situated at 800m in an old stone grange renovated with natural materials. The gite is nestled between pastures and woods with an incredible view of the Pyrenees mountains. Final access (75m) is on foot to maintain the tranquillity of the location. Immerse yourself in nature, escape the pollution of the city...come and relax! Your hosts Lee and Susie offer a 90 minute vinyasa yoga class or a 1 day introduction to handweaving course - design and weave your own fabric item.

Located outside a small, quiet hamlet (altitude 800 metres) at the end of a winding road, the south-facing barn enjoys panoramic views of the mountains, and is surrounded by fields and woods - with no vis-à-vis! Entirely renovated using ecological materials, the gîte retains all the charm and authenticity of a Pyrenean dwelling, but with all the comfort of a purpose-built gite. The barn caters to everybody – couples, solos, families with children, and walkers with their four-legged friends.

The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

A bright apartment with a private terrace and stunning views of the hillsides. The ideal place for a peaceful stay, just 15 minutes from Toulouse (25 minutes from the city center). Perfect for a couple with a child or a small group of 3, you will enjoy an equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, a Smart TV and a remote work area. Shared pool and garden with the neighboring accommodation, in a friendly and caring atmosphere. We remain available nearby if needed.

Bathroom, toilet Outside terrace, bikes, outdoor games, climbing wall Don't forget your towels and bedding (140 x 190): duvet cover, pillowcases and fitted sheet. Outdoor facilities are provided for smokers.

The cottage we offer is renovated with eco-friendly materials. It has exceptional views of the mountains! All electric comforts, Wi-Fi, TV, fireplace, Plancha, Ideal for GR10 hiking departures, lakes, waterfalls, ski resort, mountain biking, equestrian center, kayaking, relaxation and wellness treatments on site. Mobile home located on the outskirts of our farm in the middle of the fields and surrounded by goats, sheep, pony, donkey... It is ideal for relaxing in peace alone or with family up to 5 people. The nearest village with all amenities is 5 kilometers away and access to the highway is 6 kilometers away. Guests can enjoy the pink city located 40 kilometers away as well as the Pyrenean mountain just an hour's drive away.
