Vacation rentals in Chorafakia

Efi and Spiros are the best hosts! They are full of suggestions for the area and took us to their olive grove and nearby Holy Trinity monastery. Even though they are on site, they are never intrusive but available if needed. The house is in a quiet area but there are restaurants/shops a short drive away and only 20 mins from Chania. The views are amazing, perfect for sunsets. We spent a lot of time on the large comfortable terrace. We loved beautiful Kalathas beach, just a 5 minute walk. The beach has golden sand with an island to swim to. Nice beach chairs/umbrella for rent for 15 Euro. Spacious and squeaky clean house, fully stocked with kitchen items and basic groceries. Nice touches such as olive oil from their grove, local raki, and wine. The house had everything we needed. The driveway is steep but manageable. We did day trips to Falasarna and Elafonissi beaches, Chania old town, a hike thru the nearby gorge to Katholiko Bay. We had an amazing stay at the Sunset Villa.

It was a pleasure to stay there. The apartment is great, has everything you need for living, very clean. The pool is beautiful, for children it is simply incredible that you can go out into the yard and swim, the area is well-kept, the kitchen has everything you need to cook quickly. There are shops nearby, 5-10 minutes from the apartment, there is a parking lot nearby for a rented car, it's just great, really! My best recommendations, we will definitely be back!

Es ist ein traumhaftes Haus! Wir haben es sehr genossen! Es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Es gibt sogar eine Saftmaschine, um die leckeren kretischen Orangen 🍊 auszupressen. Auch ein Grill am Pool ist vorhanden. Der Blick aufs Meer ist unglaublich schön. Selbst bei starkem Wind kann man auf der geschützten Terrasse den Blick genießen und ist dennoch nicht dem Wind ausgesetzt. Tolle Architektur. In der Beschreibung kommt nicht so gut raus, dass man im Wohnzimmer ebenfalls völlig geschützt wie auf dem Balkon sitzt und einen wunderschönen Blick auf Pool und Meer hat. Außerdem gibt es im Wohnzimmer einen großen sehr tollen TV. Leider hatten wir einen Vormittag Stromausfall. Dafür konnte allerdings der Vermieter nichts. Wir kommen gerne wieder. 💙🤍💙

We had such a great time and will be looking to come back! Theodoros was an amazing host, from pro-active things such as clean linens every week as well as providing a very clean and hospitable space for our family. Cannot say enough good things!

The host was waiting for us at the property when we arrived. They were really welcoming and helpful. The welcome pack was excellent and meant we had everything we needed for the first evening and breakfast. The villa was perfect for us. Attention to detail was excellent too; soap, dishwasher tabs, rubbish bags, etc. Plenty of space, beautiful views and a path leading from the property (via a secure gate) directly down to a small cove with easy sea access. A previous post mentioned oil in the water in the cove but when we went on a diving/snorkling organised trip further around the cost the appearance of the water was the same and apparently this is the effect of fresh water from the mountains mixing with salt water (sweet water) giving a grainy appearance when underwater. We were able to swim from the cove around to a beach very close by. Hotel Lena is a couple of doors down with great food when we didn't feel like cooking for ourselves or just felt like a cocktail.

Such a beautiful villa perfect for family get always. We had a family reunion with different families staying together. The property allows for spending time together as well as nooks to escape to with different hanging out areas. The lush garden is a real luxury in Crete and the first I have come across. So much natural shade was so pleasant in the Cretan heat. Lovely hosts. Great value all around.

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold i "Grey House". Boligen var ren og nydelig. Faciliteterne var også gode. Poolen var lækker, og vi benyttede os også af deres dykkergrej og solsenge. Dominika var hurtig til at svare og meget hjælpsom. Samlet set er denne bolig et virkelig godt tilbud med en rigtig god vært. Det eneste minus er de F-16 Jetfly som flyver over området om dagen.

Georgios was very accommodating and was there to check us in even though we arrived late at 11.30pm. He was always there to help and it made our lives a lot easier during the stay. The villa is just as described and the views are genuinely sensational , would recommend in a heartbeat
