Relaxing!!! This is the place. The view of the water with a morning cup of coffee was perfect. The kids enjoyed seeing the different ships go by. The description of the place was spot on.

We like the convenience of the location to our family. We also love the privacy. The school house is neat, clean and has just about everything one needs to prepare full meals. Scott is quick to respond to questions and is a very accommodating host.

Stay on the Tay! A Charming Stone Guest House

DavidRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Kate's place is quite lovely and provides an opportunity to be a part of Glen Tay Valley history. The Garden's are beautiful and sitting in the summer house is a treat. Great place for reading a book with a glass of wine in hand. Our dog loves it there too as he can watch the bird life by the Tay river. Kate's digs are a great spot for resting in between adventures in the Perth area. Absolutely charming. It was our third time back.
A wooden deck offers a view of the calm water, with a dock visible nearby accommodating two boats. Adirondack chairs are positioned for relaxation, surrounded by grass and a flower pot. Lush trees frame the scene, creating a serene outdoor space.

CHarming CHippewa CHalet

FrankRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Lawrence was INCREDIBLE as was his home and location. He was VERY helpful and responsive, as well as always following up. The home was beautiful, clean and beautifully decorated. The location right on the water was breathtaking and had its own dock to put a boat, which we rented nearby at a great price. A place Lawrence recommended. He also recommended nearby places to see, eat, shop, etc. My wife, me AND our dog truly enjoyed our stay 200 percent. Highly recommend. A shout out to his property manager Debbie as well. Very available and helpful....

Home on the River - 15 minutes from Alexandria Bay

AmyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had an amazing stay at the Boathouse. The house is situated right on the water in a very quiet area with gorgeous views. The house was very welcoming, very clean and stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to stay here again. We loved the extra towels, the extra supplies in the medicine cabinet and the cooking supplies like oil and spices and coffee and filters. We liked that there were ice trays, games, extra outdoor seating, kayaks to use and laundry on site. We were happy to have some blankies for the couch, loved the space in the bathroom with the extra racks, the storage cart and the bench, and it was a plus to have the shelving and extra space to unpack in the bedrooms! The storage area at front door was also a plus for coats, purses, shoes, etc., allowing the space to stay neat and organized.
A serene view of the St. Lawrence River is captured, showcasing calm waters and a distant island surrounded by greenery. The sky appears bright blue with scattered clouds, while lush foliage and a small wooden platform can be seen in the foreground.

Lovely Thousand Islands Cottage

KatrinaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We really enjoyed Peggy's home. This cottage is rustic and homey. Beautiful view and safe place to kayak or swim. Kayak down to the public beach, into the creek or around some islands from the cottage. Brockville and Gananoque are super close. We visited the local solar brewery (Ar-Bru) and the cute little bakery (Orchel) in Mallorytown, rode our bikes and kayaked in other local towns as well... All easily reachable. As for the cottage: Just that, a COTTAGE. The water is clean and we had everything we needed. As with any cottage, there are spiders and other outdoor insects, so if you are afraid, you may want to stay in a hotel. My only feedback is that Peggy needs to replace the beds, which we told her and she was receptive. We brought our own linens. Peggy left us a lovely welcome gift and card, texted several times to make sure we happy and comfortable, such a nice surprise. She met us there to show us everything. Sun porch, deck & a cozy feel; perfect for a get-a-way.
