this was our second stay at hurst cottage and was just as good as the first!. lovely cottage with beautiful gardens, hot tub was lovely and everywhere was spotlessly clean. linnett was very responsive to any queries we had. would highly recommend.

Arrival was super easy with excellent instructions on how to set up and feel comfortable immediately. The location is well placed for many locations around and they’ve even given excellent recommendations in the surrounding area. Overall a lovely short break.

this place is beautiful. it was very hard to choose 'the best room to sleep in' as they were all stunning. we will probably book again next year.

I had a lovely stay at The Nest, the place was so homely and beautiful, everything was so clean and the kitchen had all the necessary items in it, so no need to bring things with me. Rachael was a fantastic host, she was super responsive and made sure we felt right at home.

We had a fantastic time at the Shepherd's Barn. The property is in a beautiful area, and very peaceful - Bollington is only a 20 minute walk with lots of restaurants and pubs, and the property is very close to the Peak District. The home itself was lovely, light and spacious - we particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the games room, and the beds were very comfortable so we all slept very well. Hannah was extremely communicative and flexible, and ensure our stay was smooth and care-free. We would definitely recommend the Shepherd's Barn!

Lovely place to stay. Great amenities and hot tub was huge! Only thing for me was that I wasn’t able to sleep due to loud road noises but that’s a personal preference.

We had a lovely time here, Richard and Gail are perfect hosts who will answer any questions you have. The welcome package was a very nice touch. Everything was perfectly clean and neat. Our favourite part was the hot tub but there’s so much to enjoy in the area!

Me and my family had such a special few days in this beautiful Air Bnb. The house was spotless, so beautifully decorated and furnished and the outdoor area was really amazing in the day aswell as star gazing at night! Kate was a really friendly and proactive host sending local recommendations before we arrived and checking that everything was okay on check in. We will definitely look to stay again when visiting family!

Lovely cottage with stunning surroundings. Super peaceful location, with no road noise. Cottage felt like a home and everything you would need was provided including towels, shampoo and body wash, pans, coffee and tea making facilities, cutlery and crockery. Gemma was super friendly and welcoming and we would absolutely come again.

Owl's Loft exceeded our expectations - super cosy, absolutely everything you might need and beautiful surroundings with a private paddock for our doggo to enjoy. Everything was immaculate and the views were incredible (especially when watching the sunsets!). Area was great for dog walks and was a relaxing and peaceful getaway. Sue was super responsive and friendly :)

An absolute gem of a place, wonderfully peaceful and in a beautiful location, with the Highland cattle and open fields on one side, and the lovely little Church on the other, well worth popping in to enjoy a quiet moment. The house is well placed for access to many places but sufficiently removed to be able to get away from it all. We would definitely recommend Feast in Congleton for freshly prepared food and a lovely coffee. We have never stayed in a cleaner, more well stocked home from home! David and Ann were lovely, popped in to check everything was OK then gave us space to enjoy the house. Everything was excellent quality, with wonderfully comfortable beds! Reading the guest book there are many repeat visitors and you can absolutely see why people would return time and time again, we certainly hope too.

A lovely cosy cottage. Perfect for us for a night away for a dinner reservation at The Flintlock which was a 5 minute walk away. Comfy living area, clean kitchen and bathroom. Bed was smaller than ours at home but comfy nonetheless. We were grateful for the earplugs to block out the church bells overnight. Lovely area, with great views on the drive there. We had a lovely cooked breakfast at the old school tearooms, which again was a 5 minute walk away. Also had a drink at the pub opposite which was lovely. Would definitely recommend Christine’s cottage if looking for somewhere to stay in the area.

We arrived on a rather miserable evening, and Jane was there when we arrived. She was very friendly and helpful. Even before visiting, answered my questions promptly. As for the cottage, I thought it looked beautiful at nice. In the day though, when that sun came out it was stunning to have such beautiful surroundings. It was bigger than it looked in photos. The beds were very comfy which was needed after exploring some amazing hikes that weren’t far at all!

Alison’s property was chosen as a central location for family to come and visit during our stay. Very friendly host and well equipped holiday let. Plenty of dog blankets/throws, toilet rolls, towels and tea towels. Thoughtful ‘get you in pack’ covering the basics you’ll need for a cuppa and snacks. Plenty of emergency condiments and toiletries if you need them. I worked from ‘home’ during our stay, the WiFi didn’t let me down. A fantastic find!

It was absolutely fantastic three days in the Peak District made magical by Barbara and the amazing hospitality she brought with the beautiful house. My entire family (people from all ages and generations) had a very memorable time. Will definitely look to visit again. Massive thanks!

Spotlessly clean and homely cottage booked while in the Peak District for a wedding. Jane’s cottage is within 5minute walk to local shop and a number of pubs. We found the cottage, including kitchen utensils to have everything we needed. Good clear instructions on how to find, where to park and check in.

Stayed here to attend a family wedding locally. Lovely place with everything you need.

A really lovely stay, would 100% recommend. The grounds, main house and accommodation we stayed in were really beautiful. The accommodation was just as described and as shown on the photos. The location was well situated for the Peak District as well! The hosts were flexible with check in and check out times, had great communication and were overall very friendly. Added bonus of making friends with their lovely border collies, one of which visited us every day to play fetch with us!

Lovely cottage with fresh flowers and many additional features, milk in the fridge, shampoo and conditioner and soaps. Comfortable beds, great shower and wonderful local pubs. We enjoyed walks around the area.

A lovely little cottage with a great host who genuinely wanted us to have a nice stay. No issues while there but I have no doubt Sue would have done her upmost to reslove anything if we had. Great place to stay with dogs with a lovely little garden to sit in
