Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Chesapeake and Ohio Canal

Vinson’s place was absolutely beautiful. My coworkers and I were there on business but this listing is so large, it would be great for large families. It’s accurately described and it’s breathtaking. Vinson has the listing strategically decorated in a way that ALL guests will feel welcomed. I enjoyed my stay and I’m planning to book his listing for my family vacation. This home is in a very nice neighborhood tucked away and with in walking distance to UMD. There are stairs to get in and barstool height chairs. It is well furnished and very comfortable. The hosts were friendly and very helpful! I enjoyed 2 of their recommendations for dinner out! Great stay and highly recommend!

The place was great and close by anything you want to do in D.C. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Excellent first Airbnb experience! Space was exactly as described and impeccably clean. Located in a beautiful, secure, quiet neighborhood directly across from a park... so pleasant hearing kids playing while heading out to our car instead of typical hotel noise. Daisy and Steven were fantastic hosts, responsive, friendly, and thoughtfully checked on our comfort without being intrusive. Great amenities including off-street parking, EV charger, coffee bar, snacks, and welcome wine. Clear instructions made everything seamless. Would definitely book again - highly recommend!

The house has plenty of parking and is very quiet at night. There was also enough bed-spaces and room to hang out. Check in and check out was also hustle-free. Wish we had stayed longer. I highly recommend Patricia’s home.

Mehrdad was one of if not the best host I have had since using Airbnb. He was very understanding when I needed to shorten my stay and overly gracious. The home was in the perfect t location for me and met every need I had for my short stay. I will be staying here whenever I visit the area in the future.

Cute and comfortable stay. The beds were comfy and everything appeared clean. The yard was great and the neighborhood was very nice and walkable. Great location in Falls Church with lots of restaurants near by.

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

Mark was a great host and I enjoyed my short respite at his location. Everything felt clean and new and was designed with thought and care. The outward facing garden was lovely to look at in the morning and while heading to bed. Thank you so much Mark for such a comfortable stay.

A quiet space with lovely garden view, just as described in the listing. The hosts were very responsive, quick to address the minor issues I had, and friendly without being intrusive. In addition to the many good points mentioned in reviews by previous guests, I especially appreciated the nightlights in the apartment and the outdoor lighting along the walkway. I hope this place is available the next time I'm in the area!

Highly recommend Ann’s place! We traveled with our toddler, and it was perfect for him. They supplied a pack and play and tons of board books. My only thing to note is that the walkway to the space is not paved so be aware with small children and suitcases.

John and Adam were excellent hosts. There were very responsive to my questions and issues. I loved the grounds and very well stocked kitchen. I would gladly stay there again.

Jenna's place was great ~ it's exactly as described. We found it peaceful & relaxing, and we liked the proximity to public transportation.

This was our first time in Washington DC. This location is great with close access to the Capitol and surrounding monuments and museums. Elizabeth is very kind and helpful with places to go and things to do. There is a great neighborhood breakfast shop very close by and easy access to the subway and shared ride companies are easy to use at this location. The apartment is very cute, comfortable, and clean and Elizabeth provided many amenities to make our stay easy and comfortable. If we come back to visit DC, we will definitely look to stay here again! We have even recommended to our kids the next time they visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay Elizabeth!!

Quaint basement studio with ample space and very roomy. Can comfortably sleep 2-3 adults. The most beautiful backyard. Has all the amenities.

The house was clean and offered beautiful scenery. The grill was located near the river, allowing you to enjoy cooking, dining, and taking in the view all at once. Due to the weather, the firewood was wet; it would be better if it were covered to ensure the fire pit remains usable after rain. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would definitely be happy to revisit.

Jeff and Sam have created something so special and so beautiful in Berkeley Springs. You will not be disappointed. This was a return visit for us and for sure, not our last visit.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay this past weekend! If I could give more stars I would and I’ll be definitely bringing my children with us next time. Everything that we needed was easily accessible and clearly labeled so we had no issues during our stay. The property was stunning and I loved reading about Jesus while looking around such a great touch. I hope God continues to bless them and provide in all the ways they need. This property was so beautiful and such a relaxing stay! Robert was extremely thorough and there was not a single hiccup in the process! The house was spotless and was soo beautifully decorated! It was even more perfect than the photos portray. They did a truly phenomenal job with the place. Everything was in working order and there was plenty of supplies on hand. I also greatly appreciate the level of cleanliness in this property. It stood out as well! I hope we get the chance to return here again soon!

This was an incredible Air BnB with amazing views. We took the drive up the mountain after it rained which made it a little slick in some spots but manageable in a truck. It's not a bad drive if you have experience driving up and down mountains. The cabin was secluded and made us feel like we were the only ones up there. Both the outside and inside were very well maintained and clean. The views from the deck were stunning and made waking up to see the sunrise worth it. We were provided recommendations for local wineries, breweries, and stores that were just as amazing as the cabin itself. Culin and Danielle really put it a lot of effort to make sure we took full advantage of things to do in the area. They even sent us directions on how to access a portion of the Appalachian Trail from the cabin. It was perfect for us and two Australian Shepherds. We will definitely be back!

Had such a nice time here I almost don’t want other people to know about it! Beautiful cabin with a view, feels very private but you’re not far from attractions and activities in Lost River.

We loved our 1 night stay! The lake was gorgeous, the lodge was cozy, and the bed was comfy. We played cards in front of the fireplace in the evening time, beautiful fireplace! Got pizza at Tony’s and brought it back for dinner. We can also recommend the Thai restaurant called “Little Peppers” that’s in town. We caught 30 fish in 2.5 hours with a rooster tail lure. Bass, bluegill, and crappie. Biggest one we caught was over a 12” long. Fished between 4:30-6:30pm and then the following morning between 8:30-9:30am. Fish were biting like crazy at all times! We fished from the dock and also from different spots on shore as we walked to all the accessible spots of the lake. Outside showers were awesome! Other wildlife we spotted were: 15 Canadian Geese hanging out on the pond, 3 heron (2 blue/1 white), 2 deer, and a groundhog! The deck, outside seating, and planted foliage and flowers were so beautiful. The view is incredible. The host is super sweet and so helpful ❤️
