I can't begin to express how wonderful this place is. We had a few things planned and opted to enjoy the surroundings at the cabin. The creek is peaceful and serene. Our dog loved being able to jump and wade through the water. We made sure to allow him in the water only when the renters across the way weren't there. You can barely notice the only neighbors through the foliage. The home is perfectly stocked and the appliances are what you need and work great. The beds are comfortable. THE MOST IMPORTANT PART, I accidentally reserved my booking by one day off. AIRBNB was being a huge pain trying to fix it. I tried adding the extra day to accommodate our stay even though I would pay for a day I didn't need. Melinda wouldn't have that, even gave me a personal phone call telling me how she would personally fix MY MISTAKE. She didn't have to do that, yet, she did. I highly recommend this rental and any other Melinda manages. 5 stars isn't enough for the understanding and personal touch.

We had such a wonderful time at Kevin’s place! Kevin was super accommodating and flexible, and very responsive. The pictures just DO NOT do this home justice. It was absolutely beautiful and the views from the deck were STUNNING! It had ample space for my family and we will definitely be returning!

The house was perfect for my families vacation. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. The hot tub was great after a long day of enjoying the local attractions. The game room was good for evening entertainment and during poor weather.

This is our family's go-to place when we visit family in Hayesville. Beautiful, quiet area with lots to do just outside of the area. The home is well kept, exceptionally clean, spacious and comfortable. The living area is open which is great for hanging out with plenty of bed/baths to retreat to. Views from the deck and bedrooms are stunning. Everything is always in working order. Host is wonderful - responsive to questions asked, though we haven't had many during our stays. Whether you're planning a family get together or a quiet getaway, this home will not disappoint.

The Nottely River Retreat was absolutely amazing and one of the best places (maybe the best) that we've ever stayed. Bob was incredibly helpful and a great host. We found the place easily by following Google maps. Checkin was a breeze. The house was so clean. The bathrooms were amazing and the kitchen had everything we could ever need. Bob had everything labeled nicely so lights, fans, TV etc were all easy to use. Our favorite spot was the screened back porch rocking chairs... The house sits right on the river, so close that you can see and hear it while sitting in bed and from most rooms of the house. Our kids had fun playing in the flat front yard and also wading in the river out back. We even caught a fish. There is a cabin on either side of the rental but due to the location in the bend of the river you don't really see the other properties so we felt like we had the entire river to ourselves. We loved how private it felt. Plenty of yummy restaurants within ten minutes.

this place is amazing. would definitely stay again. a little tricky to find the private driveway but once you get there it's super. it's a hop and skip away from all the great roads including the Tail of the Dragon which is just so good.

I feel very fortunate they shared such a beautiful place. It’s so tranquil, comfortable and superb views. I felt very safe staying there. They responded to any of my concerns quickly and completely. Enjoyed the deck day and night. Whip-or-wills. Hummingbirds, deer and rabbits graced the stay.

We come to Murphy all the time to visit family. We will definitely book again here if it’s available!

We loved our stay over Thanksgiving with our kids and grandkids. The house was comfortable with plenty of room and fantastic views of the lake below and the mountains that surrounded us. Easy to get into Murphy for shopping and restaurants. We loved the Chop House!! We will book this house again!

We were looking for a peaceful place to get away for New Years and Marys place was perfect. Beautiful view of the mountains and lake. Nice outside porch with fire pit with big comfy chairs and a barbecue! Inside was perfect and loved the charm of the cabin. There was just the 2 of us - so we stayed on lower level in a comfy king bed. Nice indoor fireplace in the living room. The basement rec room was so much fun - Pool table / Ping Pong /Fooseball and a downstairs TV. I would highly recommend this place to get away and enjoy the peaceful woods and beauty of nature.

I would recommend this stay to anyone! Very comfortable, clean, private, and peaceful. The house had wonderful touches- very well stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook, it felt like a house with every accommodation you need.
