Vacation rentals with a pool in Cheat River

Great location - walking distance from Wisp for skiing and tubing (though not easy with gear) and a short drive to the grocery store. This was our second stay at this property and we love how family friendly it is - the kids love the game room and climbing wall and it’s a good setup for multiple families.

Reservation, checkin and checkout were smooth. The unit is bigger than it appears in the pictures with a good sized living/dining/kitchen that is open plan and nice sized bedrooms upstairs. The WiFi worked well and there is a TV in the living room and every bedroom. If you want a more analog experience, a few TVs have VCRs and there is a wide selection of family friendly VHS tapes.

Great response time. we had a few issues, host was quick to remedy. we enjoyed our stay. would stay again. there is a pool and food at the lodge I would highly recommend. when you arrive there is a security gate at the end of the community, you have to check in with them. they give you your pass and make sure you are supposed to be there. the guard also told us you can get access to go to the lodge or amenities without being a guest staying overnight.

My family has stayed at several cabins over the years and this one by far was one of the best! Literally everything you could ever need was provided. The consideration and care put into this Airbnb felt like a home. Generous furnishings and supplies were available and it was close to some markets if you needed anything. We also liked how dog friendly the listing was. The cabin and surrounding area was peaceful and quiet. Very clean. Would love to come stay again if we have the opportunity to.

Everything is so beautiful, the stay was quiet, a very familiar and cozy space, very clean, everything super tidy, the decoration very nice, an excellent option to spend time with the family

I would definitely recommend Moon Manor to anyone looking for a stay in Morgantown. I rented this home for my daughter’s graduation from WVU so that my entire family could stay together in one place. Moon Manor did not disappoint! The kitchen was well appointed and the outside pavilion was a beautiful place to enjoy a post-graduation picnic. The place is sparkling clean and the bed was, without a doubt, the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. My whole family enjoyed the indoor pool, the hot tub, the ping pong table and the music room. The Harry Potter-themed bed area (beneath the stairs) was a huge hit, too! The owner also provided cereal, fruit, eggs, bottled water, and pepperoni rolls to enjoy as well. Thank you for everything, it was an absolutely wonderful stay!

Very much enjoyed staying here with friends and their families! We loved playing pool and shuffle board and family meal around the large dining table! Less than 15 minutes from Wisp for snow tubing and snowboarding!

Wonderful time visiting the Davis area and staying in this condo. Everything was provided to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our host was easy to communicate with and available when needed. Hope to visit again soon.

Great base for hiking. The apartment set up was perfect for two couples. We really appreciated all the supplies, such as spices and bathroom accessories.

We had a great weekend staying at the condo! We stayed in A2 and the unit was extremely clean, nothing fancy but perfect for our family. It’s also conveniently located between Canaan and Timberline resorts. We would definitely stay here again when we’re back in the area.

Courtland was very easy to work with. We had a bump up with power due to a storm and he graciously helped us solve the situation. Courtland is a great host!

The best value for the money! Some things are a little outdated but the place was as described. The indoor pool was great for our kids!

The location was perfect! we stayed for the weekend and it was conveniently located between blackwater falls and canaan valley park. Our first time in the area! We were able to hike in both places in a day! The entire place was very well kept, clean and homey. The bathroom was tastefully remodeled as well. The town of Davis was very cute too. Overall we loved our trip and enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back again! Thank you Abby!

This place was perfect for a quick getaway with my boyfriend. Self Check-In was very convenient and the place looked just like the pictures. It was very clean and nicer than a hotel, but not too much house for just the 2 of us. Everything from the bathroom, to the kitchen, to the bedroom was organized and home-y. Things like towels, sheets, blankets, hand soap, and utensils/dishes were provided and clean as well. The only thing I would warn about is the amount of lady bugs I saw inside the house. There is a large window in the bedroom with a beautiful view and a nice black-out shade, but I fear it seems to be an entrance for lady bugs. However, I did not see any other bugs in the home during my 4 night stay and would not call this place dirty at all. I would recommended this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay, close enough to visit state parks like Blackwater Falls or the small local towns nearby which had restaurants, a grocery store, and pubs!
