Fab place. We loved the use of the kayaks, and the pool was great. Very comfy beds. Kitchen was very well equipped. Only a 6 mins drive to a hypermarket and very quiet roads . Tony was very helpful and friendly. We would come again. Thoroughly recommend.

An excellent stay with a very warm welcome in a very well located house a few minutes from Cognac. All the necessary amenities for a few days, a superb fireplace in case of cold. Beautiful and recommended!

We had a great time at Laëtitia's place. The place is beautiful, the accommodation too. This mix of wood and modern accessories is great. Laëtitia is a great host, very welcoming, responsive and available. I highly recommend this listing! In the event that we return to the area, we will return to this place without hesitation.

We really liked Thomas’ place. The pool is much better than the photos look and the pool was very clean. A great little seating area under a canopy and plenty of sun loungers. Rarely used by anyone else! Good location for road cycling (road cyclists from UK will find the roads undulating and open). Really nice peaceful setting. Really quiet. WiFi good enough to do video calls to work from the house.

Corinne and Antoine are very good hosts, it was a very nice meeting! The accommodation is very well designed and well-equipped. We enjoyed the pool a lot, well-enclosed garden ideal for our young Border Collie dog. Thank you Corinne and Antoine, thanks to you we had a great vacation. We'll be back for sure. Wow!! Marie's house was beautiful and in lovely, tranquil surroundings. We were a party of 5 and the house and amenities were perfect. It was great to have a swimming pool to cool off from the summer sun. We booked for a week at a late stage but from the first enquiry to Marie and throughout our time there Marie was always very quick and helpful to respond. We absolutely recommend this wonderful house and host, but hopefully there will still be the opportunity for us to book again when we are in the Charente.

We had a dream weekend with friends (5 people) in this beautiful house in absolute quiet in the middle of the vineyards and very well-equipped, very much above the average of rentals that stick to the bare essentials. Note the very good welcome from Lucy whose briefing is complete. A real favorite that we recommend.

Functional and well arranged accommodation. Bucolic and quiet environment despite the passage of the A10 motorway nearby (traffic noise). See if it's not more inconvenient to enjoy the terrace in summer... Well located in relation to sightseeing in this area. Friendly and available host.

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

We had a very short stay at this functional and adjoining apartment. The area is very nice and Caroline, who was very warm, told us about nearby events during our welcome. 🙂

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

We had a great week at this place. Everything was as advertised, very clean, well-equipped and conveniently located. The host was very responsive, welcoming and thoughtful throughout the stay. We felt right at home! Special mention for accepting our two dogs without any problems, it's become rare and we really appreciated it. Everything was there for a successful vacation. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to come back. Again, thank you for a great week!
